I tried looking up Jacob's Ladder. I found the biblical reference, the movie, the children's toy, and some medical stuff, none of which involves transformers. So what is a Jacob's Ladder?

A Jacob's ladder also know as a high voltage traveling arc, is a device for producing a continuous train of large sparks which rise upwards.

It's really something cool to look at too.

Nice homemade Jacobs ladder

And, Thy, I concur on the face palm to the mobsters. :p

Hmmm. Why do I have a sudden yearning for such a device? My precious...

Do you think it would throw more sparks with the new AW IMR 18650, High Drain Battery, or would an UltraFire do just fine?:lol::lol: JK

I probably wouldn't be able to resist the urge to put my finger in it...

Hey guys

Need your help in crossing fingers, praying, sacrificing chickens or whatever it is you all do in hopes for good health for someone.

I'm expecting biopsy results today and need all the well wishes I can get..

Wasn't going to say anything to anyone but it's getting late in the day and my anxiety level is through the roof!

thanks!

My fingers are crossed! Will it help if I cross my ankles? That's as close as I can come to crossing my toes.

Now I can finally breathe after a week + of worrying since the squish test and a month + of worrying since I found em.

Thank you all :)

Edit: I dunno how many tears can fall from these eyes in complete happiness :)

You've been holding yourself together by sheer force of will. The sudden lack of stress is enough to make anyone cry.

I'm very glad for you. I think it's a good omen as another internet friend of mine is getting biopsy results this afternoon.

Yes, I've been waiting all day and all week and all month.

This is why I finally cracked and posted something here and just a little while after the phone rang, my stomach crashed to the ground and then I picked it up.

I'm glad the doc started the phone convo with "I have good news!"

I will keep your friends in my prayers and thoughts! I hope all is well there. It's very scary to wait to find out.

And thank you lilibet :)
