I was laughing earlier today, thinking of all the attachment gadgets that could go on the chuck!

I just left battery hell. Now off to laundrymatte hell..... I am not happy with this but if I get going I might still be able to get home in time for beer thirty. Dang kids....thought they'd be easier and cheaper once they passed into ''adult'' age but nope, they cost a whole lot more.

I just got my cap for my chuck but it's in for repairs and this LOOKS smaller than the one I had.

Is the diameter of the little chuck smaller than the big chuck?

Edit: ok, some searching and I think I found that they are the same diameter. wonder why it looks smaller to me, maybe cause now that I haven't seen my chuck in a few days I think it's a monster compared to my crappy 510

Have you checked it against your thumb?
I was going to make a joke that perhaps it will get larger now that it is in your posession... but then the thread would just go south as a few other's have, so I won't mention that at all.

Nope, same size.:D

Love the flashlight but I'm waiting for the stun gun.

bwhahah, for sure!

Or just buy new clothes if the rest are dirty....doot de doooo :D

As someone who used to do that more often than not, during about two years of always being too busy, I can say the bank account definitely prefers doing laundry :p

well, I just mailed my chuck 2 days ago or maybe yesterday...oh I don't remember...the past 2 weeks have been a smear...and I had a loaner cap on it before.

But I think you're right about the optical illusion. The loaner cap was brass color and my cap is black.

I dunno, just thinking out loud while I munch away on rainbows. :D

I see you are finally stumbling on something to measure diameter? ROFLOL!!

Use to do that with the clothes before I was married. Bank account frowns on new clothes period! I have to save up for bed sheets instead. That great dane likes to fluff the bed up if no one is about. She will shred the sheets, like a dang grizzly bear. Usually she likes to get the brand new flannel ones. Been using all the old cheapies and she nailed my last set this week. It's a good thing I love that dog.

Had to work in the shop this afternoon some, then dinner and beer thirty got in the way so I guess I know how to spend my Saturday night.

I tried looking up Jacob's Ladder. I found the biblical reference, the movie, the children's toy, and some medical stuff, none of which involves transformers. So what is a Jacobs Ladder?

Figured Id let u guys in why I havent been around past few days....

EXTREMELY bad case of vertigo...happened on n off for a few days randomly...sitting, driving, etc....then a few days ago I woke up, opened my eyes and had to hold on to my bed so I didnt fall out. Thought I was just dizzy...slowly got up and fell back into bed. talk about SCAREY!!!!!!!
Then decided to sleep it off...woke up, opened eyes, same thing, feeling sick to stomach this time. Decided no matter what I HAD to use restroom. After stumbling into walls, falling twice etc....I decided I needed to go to DR. Had gotten a ride to Dr since I was spinning all darn day and couldnt even walk to car let alone drive and DR checked my ears for infection...NO infection :( .....sent me directly to ER. Felt ok enuff to walk into ER (also trying to spare emabarrassment of wheelchair) and guess what...half way thru giving my name I fell out at reg desk...now, I DONT see spots and DONT faint, just spin like crazy drunk and fall down. They got me into a darn wheelchair, pricked my finger...blood sugar was fine. Heart beat...50bpm....nurse said plz recheck to tech...tech "50 is accurate" ooooooookkkk, getting nervous here! So, away to CT scan on head I go. Seems I have fluid somewhere in middle ear but no infection. Dr said that **could cause dizzyness but not all day...gave me bactrim, antivert and valium and said it should go away. I left feeling fine...med musta worked rt? WRONG. woke up spinning again today. About midnite, all went away again so guess what....didnt sleep tonight...symptoms still gone...well see what happens. if it happens again Im going to ER again for MRI, EKG, etc...Im sure its nothing but sure doesnt feel like it.

So yeah...long story long  thats whats been going on...:)
Im oretty tired now but dreading sleeping bc it happens when I wake up n lasts all day. I gotta sleep sometime so if you dont hear from me for more than 16-18hrs from now....prob isnt a good sign. If Im ok...you KNOW ill be online rt here in te SAT thread :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

hey crash...I had a touch of that not to long ago...know what it was..."rocks in the head"...no seriously google inner ear rocks...
basically crystals come loose in your inner ear and cause vertigo...mainly in older people but changes in weather, air preasure, and quitting smoking can help bring em on..

Ain't saying this is what you have....just saying that the symptoms sound really really familiar...

I had never had vertigo until two weeks ago - I was sitting at my desk and suddenly was incredibly dizzy - started sweating and puking. I was VERY scared! I wound up going to the ER in an ambulance from the rescue squad. My blood sugar WAS very high - probably due to the panic. The worst was over by the time I arrived. After a CAT scan, the doc explained I had vertigo, gave me a prescription for for antihistamines, told me I would be safe to drive, answered tons of questions, and let me go home. I slept pretty much around the clock for the next two days. I've been fine since - knock on wood.

I did a lot of reading about it - an attack can last from seconds to days, and mine was only an hour or two, and hasn't happened again.

But I know what you mean about the panic! Let's both hope we never get it again. Next time I won't panic, but even without the panic, it was awful.

Sorry to hear about that guys! That's really scary!

I can't even imagine feeling that type of loss of control over my body, even when drunk I don't think I've felt what you have described, ctj.

Gawd, I hope it's nothing serious. Rocks in the head sounds about right but who knows, right?

Get better, all of you, please!

Sending good vibes your way.
