My rule is 5 hours, I'm walking into walls; 6 hours, I'm functional; 7 hours, I'm good; 8 hours, it's a miracle.

Unfortunately I get only 5 hours all too often.

Eight hours, can do seven anything less and I will not be nice. In addition I require that no one talk to me when I first get up. I need my coffee, smoke and quiet time or I will bite your head off, chew it up and spew it back at you like something from a horror movie. Oh, and don't interrupt my sleep cause then it doesn't count and according to my kids I babble weird crap at them, and end up pacing about for 15 minutes.

Still wondering how I raised three kids, getting up at the drop of the hat to nurse them or tend to their wimperings etc. Nowadays I sleep through anything, severe T-storms and I discovered I can even sleep through an earthquake. Outside of all that, I am truly a delightful bubbly happy person. LOL!
