How to spend a Saturday

I have some old fashioned metal milk crates full of stuff. I thought most of it was samples of my work from older jobs which I'd be able to toss quickly. Nah-uh.

I'm about 2/3 through one of them and so far everything I'm keeping is in a file folder less than an inch thick. And, after I finish the 4 crates, I can tackle the papers in the box my vacuum cleaner came in. This is the real disadvantage to living in the same place for 33 years -- you never have to go through anything (until you run out of room.)

Wow, and I thought I was bad... Oh, yeah, I am. Moved office buildings last year. Went from 3 4-drawer vertical file cabinets down to one, and two of the drawers are empty.

In my defense, I did take home two drawers of my gadget collection (nail puzzles, plasma balls, etc.) - I work at an engineering design center.

The bad news is, I had only been working there for 8 years.

Bet you can't guess what my basement / garage looks like

I was making funny snoring noises, maybe tooting, probably grinding my teeth a lil and definitely making a small saliva puddle all while working on those temporary sheet wrinkles up and down the right side of my body and face.

Sheet wrinkles and pillow slobber....it's a beautiful thing If no one is around to hear you snore or toot, does it really happen?


Currently in countertop design hell. Dontcha just love it when folks go ahead and do something you didn't recomend but you get to figure out how to make it actually work?

Put a fork in me, I am done with it, I've left it up to fabricator hubby as I proved to not be much help aside from getting spec sheets etc.

Guess I'll crawl off and get ready for retail hell. Surely it must be better than dealing with designers hell.

Maybe I'll get some new pron tonight when I get home, something to look forward to at the end my saturhellday.

Errr, I just **tried to wiggle my brows back but...umm, only the right one moves and since they dont have a funny lil smiley for that, just imagine I have one brow raised (seriously, left one doesnt move-severed that neve in my Jeep Accident-...but EVERYTHING else moves, )

well guys, in about 5 hours, ill be going out to get into some serious drinking activities with some old friends...so lets hope I dont stay up and wonder onto ECF after....I finally found a smiley that fits me on nights like tonight will be...

Well I'm VERY happily chuckin! Thank you Jeff, and thanks to all of you guys for keeping me entertained for the last month. This thing is EVERYTHING everyone said it was. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how small it is. I thought I was going to be huffing on a toothpaste tube but it is actually much smaller than the pictures make it out to be, but damned if it ain't heavy! I got the black wrinkle finish and I am very glad I did, It gives it a great grip. In the immortal words of Crash: "PoOf-PoOf"

Well, everyone's weekend sounds a bit better than ours. Hubby is still behind, his brother and kids showed up uninvited and he needed to be in the shop working but nope. I had crazy night before Easter fun and got yelled at by an old lady. I had it coming (sort of) We were slammin due to the last minute easter basket shoppers, had my photo tech on break, my other guys on the front registers and this old lady comes in with her old cat photo's and want's them enlarged. So I quick explain that I'd have to crop them or she'd have to cut the white out as they were the old 3/3 size. She's clueless, my cashiers are calling for change etc and this old gal wants me to make reprints of her probably long gone cat. I was short with her, didn't have time to scan in a dozen pictures, enhance them and go over how to crop them on a Saturday night before a holiday. She said she would come back and that I was rude. I probably was, usually this is very unlike me but why the heck does someone demand cat pictures the night before a holiday? Aaarghhh!

I'd much rather been home having corona's but nope, crazy old cat ladies and a dead 510 battery!

JC looks to be having a grand time. You look pretty laid back for tokin on cayenne pepper juice! LOL! Glad your enjoying the chuck.

The dreaded dead 510 battery. If I could choke a battery I'd like to choke one of those...many times over
