Rofl not at you but myself...I was in the middle of reading your post and my clearomizer was gurgling up a storm in my lame efforts to try and fix it, I accidentally unscrewed the wrong part and spilled all of my cinnamon roll e-juice all over my keyboard and desk! So ironic that your post is about spilling juice, I broke the clearo to boot...but no worries found a new one cleaned up my mess and just had to post on how not to do what I just did....lol.
I was mixing up a batch of Cinnamon Apple DIY using the little 6ML flavor bottles I got with my DIY kit. Popped the dropper tip off the cinnamon redhot flavor and stuck the syringe in. In the effort to pull the plunger back on the syringe I managed to flip/shoot the bottle of flavor off the table into my chest and down into my lap.
Now this was only a 6 ML spill but I learned 2 hard lessons with it. 1. Cinnamon redhot flavor will physically burn your skin and 2. The smell of cinnamon redhots is nearly impossible to get rid of.
Ended up with a great juice and real fear of using cinnamon redhot flavor again.

I once tried to squeeze the contents of one bottle into another bottle. I squeezed too hard and the dripper tip exploded off the bottle causing the contents to rupture. But this was back in my amateur days. I've since moved on to more advanced methods.
Okay...this is more of a response about how 'not' to waste the liquid. Have you seen those bottles (30 ml) that have the syringe (metal) tops with the plastic sheaths attached? Most 30 ml bottles of juice will accommodate the caps these bottles come with. Just remove the juice cap that comes on the bottle and replace it with the cap/sheath from the syringe bottle. If the cap doesn't fit, use a small funnel to empty your juice into the syringe bottle. TaDa.

I have a 50 ml bottle of watermelon DIY with a tiny syringe needle floating in it to this day. Basically I was transferring juice from one bottle to another by syringe and got impatient. The force of the syringe shot the needle off the end and into the bottle.
Oh c'mon... small times... I bought a 450ml bottle of red white high caliber... it was supposed to last 6 months but refilling a syringe in a computer chair with arm rests + wife calling my name = 3 months of liquid... i caught it before it hit the ground but my fumbling to catch it equaled being covered in juice >.<
The very first bottle of juice i bought.. well i didn't know it had a dripper tip.. i try to put the syringe into the tiny hole and it barely moved.. I kept pushing and pushing and finally got the needle in there.. then another half hour to pull the liquid out.. when i began to dispense it into my atomizer.. ooomph! I pressed the plunger and juice spewed everywhere. . (The whole time I'm thinking this is how it's done.. what did i know?) Got juice cleaned up and had about .5 ml in my brand new stardust. . I was so proud of myself. . Halfway through the tank i look and there's a plastic chunk of the dripper floating in there.. good times lol
I haven't really done anything as spectacular as some of these. Before I became a stay at home mom my job was mostly lab work, so maybe I got all my spectacular spills over with in my job.
There is one I have repeated a few times. Put ecig with carto tank in back pocket. Pull ecig out of back pocket by grabbing onto tank. Realize half a second too late that carto tank came out of pocket, but ecig stayed. Enjoy the feel of warm juice seeping into underwear.

The worst I've done is in the passenger seat when my protank gurgled so I took the tank off to clean the gasket. The Base was still on the zmax stupidly so instead of screwing the zmax upside down onto the filled tank i flipped the tank over and pourd ejuice down my shorts.
Yep been there with the nova tank. Tipped it upside down when a newbie and unscrewed it from the bottom. Now no vacuum to hold the juice in. Then Out comes the juice through the drip tip right into yer lap.
Cue the Mrs. laughing at your excuse for having a small round damp patch in your shorts.Nice one Mrs. Toker
