What's the secret to get rda's like the Patriot to not leak like crazy? If I put a lot of cotton in then it doesn't wick worth a damn and I get lots of dry hits.

I wick mine either dragon style, or put the cotton through the coil and fill the bottom of the RDA. No leaking whatsoever. Make sure you aren't going overboard on the juice. In my experience so far, it's hard to have too much cotton - just make sure your coils can still breathe.

But I get a horrid burnt taste if the cotton isn't saturated pretty thoroughly ImThatGuy.
Interesting.. I'm about to start my first coil build with silica wick after the stock one in my rda was pretty much performing pathetically. Not to mention the leaking. Hope to see more inputs from the rda masters here.
Any RDA with an airhole can leak if you tilt it in the direction of the airhole. I have done this with both the Octopus and the Igo-L, but I like to keep them pretty wet.
