I now have 3 Provaris 2.5. One I use daily. The other two I bought recently as insurance against the upcoming regs at the sale price of $34.99 each. I saw on the Provape website that they advise putting silica in their box. But I wondered what was the best way to store them for possibly several years: 1. Should i pack them in a plastic bag or at room temperature in their box? 2. Is it advisable to use them occasionally or will they be okay packed away possibly for years.
Here is their response: "The silica packets will definitely keep any moisture out of the ProVari while it is being stored. The other important thing to keep in mind is to not store a battery in your ProVari. Storing them at room temperature in their box with a silica packet is all you really need. If you don't have a silica packet available, just take them out every 6 months or so and give them a cleaning to remove any oxidation that may have formed. Following these steps should allow you to store them pretty much indefinitely."
