How to tell if its my battery or charger?

Ok I have only have my riva 510 for about 4 days, and it has been working great. However I placed one of my batteries on the charger this morning, and 6 hours later my one I had charged the day earlier died. I removed the one on the charger (altho the light was still red, which I thought wired) and tried to take a puff, and I got 3 blinks. I figured that maybe I got one bad battery, placed the other one on the charger and gave it an hour. Took it off, screwed in my atty and the same thing. Now I either have two bad batteries or a bad charger. What I want to know is, how can I tell which one it is? The charger appears to be working. Red light when I have my battery on, green light when I take it off. I have cleaned all the contacts, and removed it from the wall charger onto a USB port on my computer, and still nothing. Please help, I am having a nic fit!

Same thing is happening to me man, Hope someone has an answer to this!

Probably the charger...
Sometimes juice get's inside the part where you screw the battery.
Try to open it and clean it.
My eGo charger had lots of "goo" inside.
It's a good advice to also get a spare ASAP.

Contact the vendor and get a replacement for the charger.

Ive made a few orders now and im finding all too regular im getting at least one part dead on arrival, This is not from any one vendor in particular it just seems to be common so far?
