Is that 25% of total volume or 25% of vg volume itself? In other words how much distilled water would you use in 10 ml if it contains 1ml of pg flavorings and the remaining 9 ml is combination of VG and DW?
If you mean 25% of total volume, then DW=2.5 and VG=6.5
But if you mean 25% of vg volume itself, then DW=1.8 and VG=7.2
Hmm... I think I used 25% of the VG volume -- I was using an ejuice that's 95% VG to add to my Virginia. So I just used 3 parts of that juice to 1 part water.
It doesn't improve the taste, but neither does it seriously degrade it; it just makes it a bit lighter, likewise the vapor -- a bit thinner.
I'd also make sure that the juice you're using the water in is for short term use. I quit using water in mixes because the juice will turn black over the course of 3-6 months with mixes with water mixed in while the same mix will still have a normal appearance without water in it.
i have found if you add too much dw it will lower your vapor and lower your flavor just a bit , for me too much vg gives me what they call a heavy chest or the symptoms of copd , but i love 70/30 or 60/40 juice so i add 10% dw which comes off on the vg so 10/50/40 but when you look at the actual ml % is 10/40.5/28.5

Good point, since water is partially composed of oxygen, it would make sense that it would contribute to oxidation. I only add water to my actual tank, or to very small (15ml or less) "batches" of something.
