Hello Guys,

I've been vaping for 5 months now, and I'm moving for a job in Saudi Arabia soon... I've read that electronic cigarettes there are banned now... and I'm wondering if any of the members here is a Saudi Arabia resident, and how did you manage to get your liquids and vaping kit in there... I'M FREAKING OUTTTT

Thanks for your help!!!

Hi Sammy. I have no idea how to get eliquids to S.A., but we do have an Arabic language subforum here. I take it you speak Arabic? If so, maybe they can help you:

العربية

However, you'll have to have at least 5 posts and then wait for the forum to update (at 25 min past every hour) to be able to post there.

Good luck.

If not already excisting, a 510 flashlight head to put on the mod in situations like these would be great. Then the shampoo trick should work also. Especially if you like fruity flavors :)

No, seriously. You should not try to take any valueable gear with you. I've read too many storys about them confiscate it at the airport. You could try to mail some cheap stuff to you. That's my only advice :/

As far as I know the ecig Gulf ban is related to "import/selling" restriction but not to personal using. You can still have your ecig stuff in luggage. You can't buy ecig or eliquids there but you can take your flavor concentrates with you for DIY, 20x20ml bottles of your favorite flavors can be used for years... So your state is not so bad. :)

The frog is in a fog, but not a dense fog. The little amphibian may have good news here. Hip hip hooray!:D

Shampoo filled with nic juice. Like the previous suggestion, breakdown devices and scatter throughout luggage. Now I know I'm a naïve American, but you're going from Beirut to SA, to me that seems like a slight upgrade, no offense intended. What line of work are you in? Just curious.

haha no worries i'm not offended. I'm an electrical engineer. They are banned in Beirut too by the way, but our customs officers are more of dummies than real men. Saudi ones are more serious abt their job lol, and its the last place on earth where you would want to have issues with their law... I'm not even sure they allow shampoo or any form of liquids in your luggage either...

I can carry the head of my dead ego battery... what else would I need... a battery case and a circuit protected battery?

where's the offense zanedog. i appreciate if you guys can be more helpful. i just need to find a way not to get back to analogues.

sorry, I was joking in an effort to bump your thread. I am unsure of the laws over there with regards to ecigs. I have known a few people who worked over there for oil companies and they did not much go away from their 'work compounds'. I do recall them relating some very strict rules regarding drugs and alcohol.

If you find the actual legalities, be sure to post it.

The following link seems to indicate they are legal?

Hope things work out for you, btw, what takes you to Saudi?

An Electrical Engineer and you're asking us yahoos how to smuggle in ...."electrical stuff????" :D Gotta keep us updated, I'm definitely caught up in this. My life is a little mundane....though it's very fulfilling.....just not the excitement of the bright lights and big city...well big Desert. I hope everything works out for you. Remember we are with you .....vicariously.
