How were you introduced to vaping?

My wife and I work with a lady who had made the switch and it really seemed to work for her. At my wife's urging I did a bunch of research and bought us a couple 808 starter kits. That was 6 weeks ago and I haven't had an analog since. Now I've got a box mod on the way and can already tell I'm going to be one of those PV hardware geeks. I quit smoking AND got a new hobby! Win/win.

Well, I suppose my story is a little different than most. I didn't start vaping with the purpose being to quit analogs. We had our normal band of smokers at work and one day a friend of mine showed up with an ecig. He explained it and I thought it was kinda cool and didn't give it another thought until he showed up a month later with an LT. Then I was interested, he started explaining all of the flavors etc. and he said he hadn't had an analog since he started. Hmmm interesting....I liked smoking...don't wanna give it up and I can "smoke" flavors????? Like Espresso? Lemonaide??? Blueberry Cheesecake??? Key Lime??? I'll give it a try and if I don't wanna smoke analogs anymore BONUS!!

Well it worked...worked so well I just picked up my first VV today and its amazing. Oh and by the way analog free since....Thanks Michael!!

I will admit the flavors have a lot to do with me still vaping. Ever since Izmir Stingers were taken from us I have CRAVED them more and more. And apparently with just a bit of mixing of flavors I can get that beautiful smoke back, if I can then I will be buying 500ml sized bottles of the stuff so I can vap happily the rest of my natural life lol

I really want to quit analogs because of using an inhailer and coughing up junk all the time and saw some being solf in convience stores so that started my interest and I went to a store where I knew the manager and he gave me a kit for free to start and I basically never looked back oh I did go back a few times but couldnt stand the smell. Now im looking for a good juice to mimic my husband s band to get him toi wsitch hes extra picky..

i first heard about e cigs around a year agao but brushed the thought of em off till a week agao. i had totally forgot about ecigs. While trying to find alternatives to not being able to smoke on a plane i stumbled onto ecf and started researching them. I later that day bought a Blu cig used that for a few days smoked around 1 pack in that time. Not happy with Blu i bought an ego and have been using it now for 5 days now and have only smoked 1 analog. I found the standard 16 MG wasnt enough. i have been using 24 nicotine and it has worked wonders!!

I was just surfing the net for some random stuff then stumbled upon a e-cig for sale. When I saw a video of someone actually smoking from it, I instantly started doing research. Since I bought the Zerocig, you could tell my researched sucked. Since then I bought the Bloog, Ego T then C and now a mini Lavatube...It's only been 3 weeks! Well I've stopped smoking and also bought a kit for my bro, hopefully he'll quit too.

I was filling my car with gas when a message scrolled across the pump "e-cig for $10.99 available in store". Intrigued, I did some research and came across this forum. I never bought their $10.99 disposable e-ciggy but opted to go with the eGo-T 2 weeks ago. After 27 years of smoking/gum/patches I have thrown away the analogues and will never look back.

I found vaping by complete accident. I was traveling, and was stuck at an airport with a 4 hour layover. Was jonseing bad for a smoke, but the security line was just too damn long to go out for a 5 minute break (had several chances to go stand-by that did not pan out) and could not be stuck in line for 30-45 minutes. Then like a sign from above I saw someone "smoking" at one of the bars across from my gate. Had to ask if I could smoke there, was told absoutley not. So I approached the fellow and he showed me his e-cig. When I got home I searched the net for a "brick and mortar" store in my area, only to find none. Then I stumbled across Puresmoker, which although local to me is not really set up for in store shopping. Read everything on their site, Forum, Juices, Videos, etc. Decided I would try an Icon and have not looked back since. Found ECF and realized that I started with a pretty good set-up. I am searching out vendors for juice and supplies all the time, looking for the best deals and such.

Smoked my last analog on the way to pick up my Icon, and have not had one since!!! Way too glad to be "smoke free"

I was on a job site on my way out to have a dirty smoke, then this contractor handed me a business card for a vendor and said I should check out ecigs and get off the smokes. That night I went online and did some reading and order my first kit. It arrived the day after next and I never picked up another smoke again!!!

That was almost 10 months ago, never going back, love my Vape.

I was Christmas shopping in the mall and the guy approached me from a kiosk. I tried it and knew I could find a better deal or option on the internet so I went home, found ECF on the web, read for 2 mo. then bought one. I tried it and hated it but with some help from the members on the proper way to use one I am now over 2 yrs. smoke free. That is something I figured was impossible. Thank You ECF Members.

This was the same for me. My bf and I were at the mall and saw the kiosk. My bf tried one (I didn't as my daughter was with us and I was hiding my smoking from her at the time). We liked the concept but not the price tag so we went home and started looking for a better deal.

We ended up getting 2 Blu kits which worked great for me for the 2 weeks that they lasted before crapping out. My bf was stilling smoking occasionally. We both went back to smoking for about a month while we researched and found ECF which led us to better products.

We're both smoke free for almost 3 years now.

I had a Student in a class and at break people went out to the parking lot to smoke a analog. I noticed this Blue Light out of the corner of my eye. Thought he had a Blue Tooth on or Something.

This went on for a few minutes until finally I saw him take a hit of something and the Blue Light came on from the end of his Analog.

I don't remember exactly how I discovered eciggs. I purchased a really cheap model from a drug store well over a year ago. I thought hmmm interesting until the juice started leaking out of the mouth piece. I got grossed and said it wasn't for me. Then early last December I thought I would just do a little research and give it another try. I told the hubby it was good sized investment for something I wasn't sure I would like. He said go for it. My Safecigs arrived..and I took off running!

There were a few glitches..I couldn't taste the Safcigs after awhile..but then I didn't realize my taste buds were adjusting. I stuck with it though. I ordered one of the Safecigg flavored cartomizers..it's a wonder I didn't give up after that *ACK*. I know what people mean when they say a flavor is perfumy...well it was for me anyway. I discovered ejuice with flavore. I got frustrated that I couldn't remove the end to refill them...until I realized I could order cartomizers separately. Then I realized I could order batteries for a LOT less...then I realized I could order bigger batteries..wow..this is great!

The battery life was bugging me a bit..it wasn't a huge deal since I had so many extra batteries...but I thought for a little more than $40.00 at Hoosiers I could purchase a Kgo kig and spend about 1/4 of what I originally spent and I should have a much better vape..wow oh wow! I just placed an order for a second kit as a backup. Lovin' the 15 carto deal Crystal Vaping. I'm about ready to order but I don't know what JR means. I asked them about that. I'm just waiting for their response. I'll be glad to have those extra cartos on hand. I just placed another order with Altcig. I purchased some empty DIY bottles...I think I'm finally to the point where I will start saving some real money.

It's been a great journey! Many thanks to ECF too!

I've seen e cigs on TV...didn't think much of it. Then a couple of years later i stumbled on a website that sells them. I bought it on a wim, out of curiosity. I thought that i have to try it just to see. I didn't think i would stop or anything i just wanted to see. When i got it, smoked 2 the whole day and i was sold.
I remember when i realized that i could actually stop smoking with these...awesome felling.
I didn't think i was ever gonna be a non smoker. Heh, even geniuses make mistakes..

Went to get my computer fixed and the owner was vapeing away while trying to sell me a new laptop. Long story short didn't buy that new computer but did take up vapeing about a week later and have been smoke free for over a year now! Oddly enough I am still using that very same computer and the original reason I took it in has stopped. Hmmmm. How is that for a sign.
