Well as my first post i think it should be one introducing my self so, HI!

I quit smoking 7 years ago, health was my main motivation but i would be lying if i said i didn't enjoy smoking, having always missed something about it i decided to give ecigs a go and after 3 ego clearo kits a few novas and some carto's i find my self now with a aga-t2 rba and i am enjoying it as much as ever.

The aga-t hasn't been without it's issues, i spent the first 3 days cursing and wishing i had never got the damn thing but eventually something just clicked and now i love the thing, after frying my pass through and having no other battery available to me i am currently using a ghetto pass through at 5v from my pc's molex, it has a punch for sure but fear not i have a vamo on order so it has all worked out to my benefit in the end.

I know 99% of this forum are probably smokers trying to work there way to being smoke free but its kinda cool being the odd fella of the bunch. :p

I use 18mg, i can take it or leave it but without doesn't seem to have the same hit and with the morning coffee it really is a big miss. First thing in the morning and evenings are the only time i do vape as work is a big no no, the company is quite protective of image and perception so clouds of smoke/vapor coming from a company vehicle is said to be detrimental, 8 hours a day does not cause any issues and serves as a good indicator to weather i become dependent.

without the burning tobacco in the equation, you will find that nicotine is more of a take it or leave it, way less addictive than with smoking.

This is something i just can't get the missus to understand, she has smoked for ten years and can not separate the act of smoking from vaping and she continues to insist that im 'just smoking anyway', I have tried quite a few times to get her into vaping but it's a no go I'm afraid.

Don't go beating your chest. You are not all that odd. Me on the other hand, I have never smoked.

I'm in a similar boat.

Quit cigs 2 months ago cold turkey and no longer have any withdrawls from nicotine, but I missed the act of smoking.
I regularly vape 0mg nicotine and will occasionally vape 12mg nicotine when I drink with friends who smoke cigs, but not something I need or rely on. I opt for 0mg and the better benefit of fuller flavor!

Hey me too OP. I smoked for 10 years. Quit cold turkey at 25 years old. never touched another cigarette for 15 years. This past year I have been really reading up on e-cigs and last Friday took the plunge.

I have no interest in smoking cigarettes again but I always loved the nicotine. I only quit because I wanted to remain healthy and I most certainly didn't quit because I didn't enjoy it. E-Cigs has given me everything I wanted but without all the chemicals and health issues.

At 40 years old I'm now 4 days into vaping and enjoying it...and the nicotine. I'm doing 12mg and 16mg myself.
