So new to vaping and to the forum, like many others wish I would have found this place prior to buy my setup (V2, I know I know) but now that I have it its time to use it and then eventually move on to bigger and better.

I notice I have been having to use the pv a lot more than I used to smoke or offsetting it with an analogue. So I figure I'm not at the right nicotine level. For that point its easy to step up a dosage level and see how that goes. Now that I've learned I want to get into dripping since the concenseus seems to be that the V2 isn't terrible, just over priced, and am in need of a a good reputable supplier and some directions. I've seen the couple of videos and the cartos don't look to hard to clean or refill. So the best advice (ie clean when changing juice or flavors, what to watch for carto being full or failing, etc) for a newbie to follow would be great on this and a couple of recommendations for where to get juice would be greatly appreciated.

by the way wish me luck getting through TSA next week, last time out they gave me a hard time on CDs and a router I had in my suitcase the joy of having to travel to fix IT problems, I can only wonder what they'll make of an ecig....

I'll take the TSA question. And I won't even start about V2. You will have no problem with TSA. I commute coast to coast and have cleared TSA 36 times since I started carrying PV's with me. I go through with 2 Buzz Pros, and 18650 and a 14650 E-powers and 2 egos. Only twice have I been asked what they were. I told them and that was it.

Thanks KeysBum. Yeah I know my friends at the TSA here in Houston can be rather obtuse so I loath going through there on a good day, much less with a new toy that they may or may not know something about.

Yeah V2 was recommended by a friend and all looked good... oh well lesson learned. Still and all I'm going to make the best of the investment and start planning an upgrade once I get some mileage out of this thing.

Welcome. Never feel bad about the pv that got you started! Most of us started on something we had to move up from to really kiss the analogs goodbye!
If by cartos you mean cartomizers (just making sure :)), IMO:

clean - the only method I have used to clean cartomizers and have a vapable carto afterwards is here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/200782-cartomizerfillinator.html

when changing juice or flavors - if I want to change flavors, I either get a new carto or use a flavor that is compatible with the first one I put in the carto and just add it. Sometime you find the combo is better than either alone!

what to watch for carto being full or failing, etc- when the flavor changes, add juice and you are good. The top should look a bit wet, but not glossed over. If it burns from being dry, it's no good, no cleaning will save it. :(

I flew in September with 3 pvs and more juice than I needed. The forum has a travel tips area, I just followed the advice there.

I would say you'll have no problems getting suggestions for good juice Vendors here. I will tell you to try Smokelessimage.com for your Cartomizers. They work very well and are less than $9.00 for a 5 pack. They always seem to have a coupon code for between 5-15% off. Just check around on here and you'll find it. Also, Make sure you know what PG/VG ratio your ejuice is. If it's higher in VG your carto will burn out quicker.Oh yeah, if your V2 is getting you off analogs, It is worth every penny. Good Luck.
