Smoking since college (long time ago) and I've wanted to quite because of health reasons and it stinks. I have gone cold turkey in the past but a year or two would pass and I'd find myself buying a pack of smokes for some reason or another and would start up again. My kiddos bought me a Njoy vap pen kit for Christmas and I had my last cigarette New Years Eve. Nice as the Njoy was, I chucked the disposable tanks pretty quick and went with a Evod Glass (leaky). Then I decided I needed a bit more power and a longer lasting battery; ended up with a Vision Spinner II and a Protank 2 mini (love the protank 2). Then I decided I needed a back up Spinner and more tanks and have a couple of more Protank 2s, a Kanger Geni and a Kanger T3'D. This hobby is addicting in itself and I have to control the acquiring urge. Now my quest, is to find the perfect e-juice. I started with a nic level of 18 and quickly dropped to 12 and recently bought 6. I find I don't miss the analogs at all and I've had zero cravings. I've not found the "juice" as of yet. NicQuid has been the best tasting I've found so far, but not in love yet. I smoked menthol and find myself coming back to a nice menthol from a local shop but I want some variety.

Noob questions are, is my set-up too limited for that awesome taste people talk about? I've been creeping the forums and learned a basic understanding of coils, so replaced my Protank 2 with 1.8 coils; but, anything over 3.8 on my battery and I get that burnt taste. The Geni seems too airy because I'm still comfortable with a bit of a stronger draw. I love the T3'D but its not glass, is my tank the problem? I don't see myself ever being a "cloud chaser" or becoming a expert on building my own kit but I am interested in a satisfying taste. Thoughts?

Also, I've learned quite a bit lurking here. In fact, I wish I had found ya'll sooner before I made some of my trial and error purchases. Thanks!

I was a 40 year heavy smoker...been vaping for 2 1/2 years. I use Pt2 and minis everyday. If you ever decide to get into building your own coils, these are actually better when you make you're own coil and wick with cotton.

Will these satisfy you long term? Well they work for me, but I also use other devices like Kayfuns. Many of the hobbyist on here will steer you to newer technology, but what works for you is ultimately your decision.

OK, now the juice thing. Flavor is really an individual subjective thing. I might suggest you try unflavored juice. I never smoked for the "flavor", so unflavored is the closest thing I've found to smoking. When I want a flavor, I usually turn to a light fruit like grape or cherry. I have never found a tobacco flavor that I like. My wife, however, has been using a NET tobacco flavor (Dragon's Fire) from HHV for over 2 years...there's no accounting for taste.

Your set up is better than the one that got me through my first year and I'd still be using it if I hadn't given it to someone who was trying to quit. As far as juice goes, taste is a subjective phenomena. Virgin Vapor, The Plume Room, and River Bottom Fog Sauce (for NETs) are the three companies that made quitting possible for me. I still buy juice from all of them as well as other companies I have discovered in the time since. Perhaps browsing a site like All the Juices which aggregates user ejuice reviews or GiantVapes.com | Giant eJuice Selection. Giant Savings. which sells juice from dozens of different companies will help you find something suited to your personal taste profile.
