Howdy. Just thought I would make an introductory post here.

I'm brand new to the act of vaping. I've had a couple of guys on my fire department using them for a while, but I just always ignored them. My girlfriend just switched over to vaping, so I thought I would make the plunge and attempt to quit smoking... again. I went down to my local store, Great Vapes in Granbury, TX, and picked up their little Christmas special deal. 950 mah stick battery, and a disposable tank... thingy. :p Along with the charger and a bottle of juice (I went with Candy Cane). That was two days ago (I wasn't kidding about being brand new) and I already found myself lurking on here looking at different things.

What else... hobbies! I'm on my motorcycle a lot. Hiking, camping, guns, SCUBA diving, writing fiction, and reading are also big interests of mine. I'll be starting back to school this coming spring to work on a Master of Education degree.

Hi Texas Gun Person,

Welcome to ECF, congrats on the first step to quitting smoking!

While this is a little off the topic of vaping (okay a LOT off the topic), I have to ask ... What kind of motorcycle do you ride?

Right now a 2007 Honda Shadow 600. Kinda small, but it scoots around no problem. My plan is to turn it into a bobber. The 600 is a great bike for just that project. Remove the rear fender, put a potato chip seat on it, remove the front fender, and drop it down like two inches as a hard tail. :)

That sounds like it would be a fun little bike ... I ride a full dresser myself, lots of long haul trips behind me ... only way to travel!
