Been a lurker for awhile, so I'm not all that "new". I've leaned a lot from this forum for which I'm very appreciative.

Here's my short story : I'm 63, retired and live in Dallas. Smoked 2 packs a day for 50 years. Last November I ordered one of the "starter" kits and stopped smoking. My Marlboros are still in my desk. My "starter kit" was the standard stick battery with the prefilled carts. Nothing special, but it worked. Next I bought a bigger battery which was like puffing on a pipe bomb with the prefilled cart and big battery, but it was a vast improvement. Then tried ejuice, using a clearomizer and thought it was even better. And, so, I was introduced to the world of ego-t, tanks, etc., which brings me to the present. While I loved smoking, (thought I'd die smoking because I couldn't quit and didn't want to), I discovered vaping and love it more.

So, thanks to everyone here for all your questions and replies which led me where I am.

My story is similar to yours. I also completely stop smoking. My health has improved. My first device was the eGO-T and I use it until now, although I already have ProVari.

gabhla, glad you ended your lurking so Welcome ECF...My story is just about like yours and I have been off analogs for almost a year now and I love it..I am 64 and smoked for 52 years..but no more..
