New to the board and happy not to have to go to my local vape shop to ask questions every time.

I've been vaping for about four or five months and it has absolutely cured me of my smoking madness. Down to one cigarette a day after twenty years of a pack a day. Plan to drop the last cigarette (the one before bed - the hardest) before the end of the month.

I'm not into mods or any of the rebuilding stuff. I just get my coils and e-juice and puff away on my little Athena Smart-20 Mini. Works well enough for me.

By the way, quick question: Can I take Freemax 1.5 ohm coils back to the vape shop so they can rebuild them, or do they need to just be tossed? I usually use them until they're burnt. I'm going to try soaking them in grain alcohol to see if that brings them back to life, but my attempts to soak in Isoprophyl alcohol then water have yielded nothing but continued burnt taste or super weird taste. Suggestions?

DO NOT USE ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL. It leaves residue behind that may not be good for you. Use a consumable to clean a consumable like Everclear (pure grain alcohol). Cleaning may get a little extra life on a prebuilt coil. Shops won't rebuild premade coils, like nineironman said no$$$ in that for them. Find good online deals from trusted sources.

Welcome and glad you joined. I understand these three are among the best rebuildable type tank coils options: Tron-S . with the CLR coils, the EHpro Kayfun Lite V2, and the Kanger Subtank Mini with the RBA.
I also keep my coil above 1.5 ohms and get good results with low watts and plenty of battery remaining at the end of day.
