At my regular check-ups with my doctor he says:

1. My lungs sound totally clear...better than they've sounded for many years.

2. My spirometer test results, since switching to vaping...literally amazed him, since I'd smoked for 42+ years. Said they were even better than many people who'd never smoked.

3. Previous indications/signs that I had the mild beginning stage of COPD, diagnosed 8-10 years ago with X-rays, etc....are no longer present.

4. My blood oxygen level has greatly increased, too!

So I'm a very happy camper with vaping and how it has positively affected my respiratory system!

Not too bad this morning. A little sore from moving stuff around in my daughter's apartment Who the hell uses the large cardboard moving box for books? That's why they make a little boxes usually called a book box. Do you have any idea what a large box of books weighs?

That and my allergies are acting up, otherwise OK. Maybe a little more fiber in my diet too, but I stopped smoking, so isn't that enough for the "what to do to stay healthy" checkoff list?

Haven't been vaping for years yet just around 7 months after over 40 years smoking. Dramatic improvement. Dr. didn't like the vaping but said don't go back to smoking. I take that to mean stick with vaping.

Blood pressure down with med cut by half for it. Heart rate down to more or less normal, before resting rate 90+ now around 75 resting.

This is all great news. It seems that vaping is a healthier alternative to smoking ;)

This all relates to the fact that I am still sweating more than anybody I know. Obviously the majority is when I'm running at the gym but beads of sweat even when I'm walking around town? I've started a thread already but this one was just to find out how others are doing.

There is nothing that has changed in my life that would trigger this and I was worried that my vaping is to do with it.
Vaping for near 3 years so probably not.
I don't know man. Worrying, uncomfortable stuff...

Fair to middling i'd say.

- Torn meniscus acting up more than usual. Seriously considering arthroscopic surgery .... but i've been saying this for fifteen years now, so we'll see.
- The lack of activity due to the knee has led to over 10 pounds of weight gain over the past year. Down to 3 pairs of wearable pants. Another reason to do the arthroscopic surgery !?
- Blood pressure a little higher than i'd like it, but not too bad. Another reason to do the surgery !?
- Tinnitus in the left ear over the past six weeks annoying as hell. Need to make an appointment with ENT specialist.
- My lungs seem fine. Haven't done the tests some of you have done though.
- No major bouts of any illness in the last few years, so that's good i suppose.

Alright, that's all i can think of for now, thanks for asking OP :)

I myself haven't visited the Drs regarding my chest or any respiratory related problems, queries or tests.
Anybody here visited Drs after vaping for a few years?
How are you doing? The same, better or... worse

Thanks

I see my doctor every month for issues related to disability (back, legs) however, my doctor knows I've been vaping for the last three years, and has noticed only improvement to my health as a result of quitting smoking. Nothing but good things here.

ETA: as far as sweating, I might not be the person to ask as I did go through menopause since starting vaping. For me though, nothing seemed out of the ordinary or vaping related.

Most things that show up after vaping are probably caused by prior smoking or something else entirely, IMO. My lungs are noticeably clearer than they were when I smoked. I can still stand back several feet from the curtains in the bathroom (short ones, small window), take a deep breath, and blow the curtains flat up against the window glass. I don't wheeze or have any lung issues. No congestion except during the allergy season, which is terrible in Middle Ga in late spring.

I had a CT scan as a part of a physical last year. All looked good with the exception of a single 2mm calcified nodule. Doctor says that calcified nodules are generally benign and can be caused by a lung infection in past years. If they don't grow quickly they aren't a problem. I had a terrible case of the flu with a lung infection (medically diagnosed) a couple of years ago and I was severely congested. I'm hoping that was the cause. I'll have a followup in a year to make sure. I'm getting flu shots since then!

I use a fingertip oxygen sensor when I'm doing my stationary bike ride. I can maintain 98% and sometimes 99% while riding. It's always 98% or better when I'm at rest. 95-100 at rest is the window for O-sat.

At 71 years old I had my chest x-ray and the lungs were totally clear but found degenerative arthritis in my neck vertebrae. But then again with a cholesterol of 114 and a BP of 128 /76 and the HDL/LDL right on the money as it should be. I'm doing great. Except for the eyes. My second operation is in another 2 weeks. But I attribute every thing to getting off tobacco 5 years ago when I started vaping
