Rebuild it at 14-1 compression and run e85. With the right cam and heads, high teens to low 20 mpg isn't hard to get. I've had a couple big blocks getting over 20 when they were set up for e85. E85 supports high compression, high compression means big torque, big torque means less throttle to get the power you need to cruise down the freeway...

That would require $$$$$ that I don't have, I have not worked in over a year, since I had a spinal cord injury following a burst fracture at L4
