One more question.. I noticed the Isub tank is plastic.. Does that mean that one would have to be careful using fruity/ sour type liquids, like with some plastic tanks?
Since those are my go to type liquids would a I sub G be better?
From my best understanding the poly-carbonate material is a German variety that is said to have some resistance to tank cracking liquids. And being Innokin looks long and hard at issues such as this I would imagine this will not be much of a concern.

I would go with the G to be sure.

In the meantime I am looking into another tank(s), perhaps the iSub G or the ...dare I say it....Subtank, just so I can compare on the Disrupter. But that RBA deck on the Kanger keeps whispering my name....pssssst pssssst...View attachment 473845

Hate to say it on an Innokin thread, but I love my Subtank Minis. I use the rbas mostly, but keep some stock heads handy for lazy days

I am sure Innokin is not offended, I like to tease about it, kind of helps send the message.....but having said that, I am certain the R&D dept. has a good idea of what is going on and to be quite frank, it is how they learn, hence this quick draw contest question on innovation. They know they are not the only game in town, they just need to be the first at bat....so to speak!:D

I never saw it I guess.....Reminds me of the commercial of the Japanese company board meeting where the Chairman hated all the young mans ideas.....until he called Jimmy John's.....I guess I need to do the same, seems my brilliant mind for marketing has failed again!:lol:View attachment 473843
I figured the prices shouldn't be that different around the country, except NY & LA
but to get your name engraved on a mod for $5 is a pretty sweet deal.
Here is what I posted before on engraving :)
I see a few people asking about the laser engraving :)

So I wanted to mention that if a person really wants a custom engraved device they still can get it done on their own.
If you do a google search for engraving you will find places that do it and it's not that expensive.

Here are the prices from one site that I found,
Engraving Setup Fee = $5.00 per item
First line of text up to 30 characters = $5.00
Each additional line of text up to 30 characters = $4.00
Line Graphics = $0.60 per square inch or portion thereof, $4.00 minimum
Photos & Clipart = $0.75 per square inch or portion thereof, $5.00 minimum

Also check out local jewelry shops, gun shops, tool and die makers and any shops that make trophy awards & plaques. :)

Out of the Sub tank, sub tank mini v2 and the sub tank nano I would pick the sub tank mini v2.

I get a better hit and taste out of the mini then I do out of the normal size. The nano isn't bad but I got to keep filling it up

Did not know there was V2, but the mini is what I am considering, the only thing holding me back is the deck size, I would like a little more room to fiddle with. This assuming the Subtank Plus has a larger deck....?

The version 1 only had one vent hole and the the v2 had 2 holes :) Plus the v2 comes in colors too :thumb:

I been having a lot of lazy days  I haven't used any of the RBA decks yet
Which they come with a coil already built and ready to go but I still haven't tried it.

I don't use this one anymore, but my engraved BP was my sidekick for years, and the one that got me off the stinkies! It will always have a place in my heart :)

I think what kinda bothered me at first was,
I spent months and months learning how to build coils. Coils for the Kayfun and Kayfun style tanks and coils to drip with.
Amps, Ohm's, resistance, gauge of wires, wraps of wires, how to wick, cotton, silica, hemp, Mesh, cotton, medical cotton, Japanese cotton, signal coil, double coil, micro coil
The list goes on and on

Then the sub ohm tanks come out Plus Temp control :?: And a person doesn't have to worry or learn about any of that
So I took a break from building coils and I guess I am still on break

Since it has come up again . . .

Original post . . .
Here's a little sneak peek of the laser engraving process for the ECF branded Disrupter & InnoCell that everyone stands a chance to win!

Looks pretty smart doesn't it! :hubba:

First time asked . . .

YES - It does . . .

Now - Is there any possibility to make a request to get something engraved also . . .

Innokin Response . . .

Unfortunately, we don't do single requests for engraving. Sorry @Uncle!

Reply . . .
OH WELL . . . I was just hoping to get "My" ECF Username engraved on the "Disrupter" if I was lucky enough to WIN one . . . :( "We're" GOOD . . .:D

AND - As it was already said so well . . .

AND - Then the first great suggestion . . .

I see a few people asking about the laser engraving :)

So I wanted to mention that if a person really wants a custom engraved device they still can get it done on their own.

NOW - Just As An FYI: For anyone interested - I saw a post in another thread where someone got a couple of special customized engraving done by a Vendor here on ECF, that looked really great, including the "Innokin Cool Fire IV" - you can find more information here: Phiniac Etched Mods

Here's the deal... I own an iSub and I had some raspberry lemonade juice from vapewild. It was in the tank for all of 8 hours and although it was not cracked or broken, it did make some funky looking groves in the interior of the tank...

COILS That LAST?

When I first started vaping I used pre punched cartos, wow seems like 20 years ago
And one of the first thing a vaper needs is to find a juice.
Even dripping cartos was a pain because the cotton held the flavor of what ever juice you used last.

So I bought some Bridge-Less Atomizers :?:
Now if you know what the heck I am talking about you don't have to watch this video
But here is a video in case you never seen one or need a refresher on them.

These are the best for tasting juice because you can unscrew them blow threw them into a paper towel and then try a different juice.
I actually could run them under tap water to wash them out.
I bought 5 of them for under $5 and I bet I tasted 50 or more juices in each of them and that was 2 years ago that I bought them and they still work today :)
Now having no cotton or wick in them, the juice would leak out the bottom air hole if you let them sit filled with juice.

I mention these because I was wondering why couldn't they just use wire mesh instead of cotton in these sub tanks?
Will the tank leak out because of having no wicking material?
Is there a way to use this old <-- Technology in these new sub tanks?

Sorry to hear that @vmtorres1.

We used the best quality German polycarbonate we could find, whilst keeping the costs down for the end user. We've had them tested by a US lab too. Here are the results if anyone is interested: http://i.imgur.com/jJCvWFF.png

Personally if you are using tank cracking liquids, I suggest you should go for the iSub G (glass) over the iSub (polycarbonate).

Heh, @Panorama911. Unfortunately we wont be releasing an RBA section for the current iSub range. But we are currently working on an RBA section for our next tank; that is all I can divulge at this time on that, sorry! But as an avid rebuilder myself, I have high hopes for it and I'm sure it'll perform.
