I just got a G6 system a week or so ago and some pre filled cartos. Worked beautifully the first day, cool drier air, about 30% humidity came through and then not so hot. Cartos seemed to dry up. Warmed to low 60's w/80 to 90% rh and much better. Now in the upper 70's around 60% rh and over 70% rh at night and now I get very muted flavors and too much vapor. No matter how much I refill I get one or two decent vapes and then almost nothing but 'water' vapor. As a matter of fact the G6 w/ an empty cart will produce infinite 'water' vapor! I have a g6 mini-tank on the way. Do you think performance will improve? And please add any other thoughts or tips that come to mind.

From a semi-frustrated but curious noob.

Pressure changes REALLY affect my cartotank. I have an ibtank with Ikenvape cartos. I live in CO and go up to the mountains often, so from 5,000 to 10,000-12.000 feet. It drives the tanks nuts. When I go up, everything floods. Going down is no issue. So whenever atmospheric pressure lowers, the tank pressure is higher. It relieves it by blowing fluid into the carto. Not sure if your gear is a cartotank, so this may not apply.

I've only used the standard polyfill cartomizers, horizontal coil. Halo G6 kit, kr808d-1 connections. Batteries and the burners on the cartomizers work great. The polyfill must be extremely hydrophilic. At first I couldn't figure out where the moisture was coming from. I have a g6 mini-tank on its' way in the mail. .9ml capacity, top burner w/4 short wicks. I'm anxious for it to arrive to see if my performance improves.

Welcome , but I don't know if the humidity , is the problem . I live in the desert , and the humidity , is seldom above 16 % . I have had no issues , and too much vapor ???send it to me , I like lots of vapor . Hopefully someone will come along , and give you their .02 cents worth .
Wow 16%! That is very extreme! I live in the Midwest and on rare occasion we'll see 20 percentiles. It generally floats between 35-60% where I live. Anywho, the G6 so far has performed with better consistency with the mini-tank. With the wicks saturated there's much less chance for surrounding moisture mixing in and diluting the experience. Got some low resistance cartos and they seem to work better than the standard but my jury's still out. As I've only had my G6 since a week ago Wednesday...

Enlightening.
I live where it's very flat. But atmospheric pressure changes could play a part. Maybe compressing and decompressing the poly-fill? I have no way to scientifically test it. So, time, experience and observation will be my guide.
