Hurrah! One month down!

one month since I finished my last pack! In the interest of transparency, I did smoke 6 cigs (last one 3 weeks ago). Just feel great overall. No smell, lighter chest, are the big plusses. I broke both my running records (endurance and speed). They are intangible but important. Not so good: gained 3 kg (6lb?), very bloated, dry skin and breakouts. But an important side-effect is drinking less. It's hard to quantify as it's generally been a month heavy with parties and social occasions, but def the drinks last longer, and easier not to crack open a bottle on week nights. I really feel this is a life-style change all around. So for newbies: keep going! I am the only one I know who vape, and the social side is still a bit awkward, but I never planned to give up, and I now feel I might actually be a not-smoking person (not no-smoking as I have no need to judge, and I leave it open to smoke if I really, really feel the urge).

Congrats! You've seem to find the right way for you to go about dropping the habit. Don't force it and enjoy the little victories :)
My experience is pretty much similar, never really planned to quit but my motivation was to stop sponsoring our government.
At some point (2 months after I picked up an ecig) I simply stopped the analogues all together... :)

There are lots of big milestones when you're quitting smoking, and one month is definitely one of them! Some of the side effects you're experiencing (breakouts and weight gain) and normal side effects of quitting cigs as your body rids itself of the toxins you had been inhaling. The dry skin may be a result of not drinking enough water. You generally need to drink more of it when you've started vaping. Congratulations on one month, and welcome to the ECF family!

Thats awesome! Keep it up. I myself have been cigarette free for almost 2 years. I own a local B&M vape shop and it gives me joy to have people come in and thank us for providing the services we do.
