Hurricane Sandy - Vaper Meet Up and Volunteer - New Jersey

Hi Everyone!

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post on, but I'll give it a shot here.

As everyone is aware, Hurricane Sandy hit the Eastern Seaboard pretty bad. As a resident of New Jersey, I have seen a lot of good come from such a terrible disaster. The good I speak of is that of human care for one another.

Ever since I started vaping and joining the ECF community I have found this place to be haven for people to meet and learn from one another. Our ECF community is amazing with a lot of caring and selfless people willing to help one another to learn, to cope from trying to quit smoking and make contacts and friends they never thought they would.

With that said, I feel strongly about doing my part to help those here on the forum and that of the people here in my home state of NJ. What I wanted to do was organize a meet up/volunteer work for people who are interested in helping out with this disaster. It will be a good opportunity for us not only to meet and vape together, but also pitch in and do some good.

I am doing some research now, where I and/or we can volunteer. May it be helping with clean up, handing out food or warm blankets to those who lost their homes or have no electricity.

I would like some suggestions from our members as well. I just feel the need to do something.

I think it would not only be fun and nice to meet some of you, but also do some good.

You're right, "fun" was the wrong phrase. It would be enjoyable and rewarding. Note to self...proof read before posting in the wee hours of the morning.

I'm hoping that people will be interested to meet up. Regardless if no one wants to go, I'm going to donate some of my time and effort.
