Isaac,

I have been dewicking without any issue's. If I leave the wick, after some time the taste becomes nasty.....guess one needs a good feeder, keep the coil wet and it will work....
I dewicked the bauway(pos anyway the way it was) and full flavor now, amazing difference....it may not last long but its much better than it was before....Thanks guys.....Isaac I didnt order any this go round, but when I get some from you I will leave the wick in and give 'er a go for a while..hell I been dealing with this pos for a week.

Haha Thanks guys! Thanks a million!

I need to give some input here about the 306's. Honestly, if you don't have to dismantle it by removing the wick, Don't. Only do it, if you have to, much like cleaning an atomizer. It really should be taken as a last resort or if your receiving an acridly harsh taste.
The latest batch were meant to be wick-less but after talking with an engineer for so long, they wanted nothing more than to urge us not do it as it can reduce the lifespan, everything is put in place for a reason. So if we shouldn't remove it, we'll have to enhance it, make it stronger, nonburnable. One of the 306's I de-wicked, now just lights up like a flashlight upon activation, produces nothing, just unvape-able. So I urge you guys, don't do it, unless it is necessary. As for de-bridging..totally against it 100%

Is there a substantial difference, beside the origin of the internals, in the construction from your original HV306s to these new ones? The reason why I ask is because I'm just a few days away from reaching my 4th month mark using the same de-wicked HV 306 from you, and I've put it through six successful dryburns. Naturally, I don't feel that dewicking is shortening the lifespan but I also understand that everything you advise is for a reason...

Well... I just got my 6V batteries for my SB, put in my IKV HV 306 atty and the taste was scorched... :eek:P I dewicked mine and it's so so much better. Now I know why high voltage is the bomb!! Isaac, your products are innovative and they work well. I would still buy them without hesitation. Keep working on a solution regarding the wicks. I believe the wicks have a purpose and your response to customer feedback is admirable. You now have another HV convert. Thank you!!

There is a large learning curve wrt HV vaping. It goes through juice like poop through a goose. This applies to all atties. But yup! as Vapo I wonder why we shouldn't de-wick the 306? Yes the mfr says it serves a purpose (with carts), but then again proper dripping ensure the atties are sufficiently juiced, because the main wick is the steel mesh.
