I woke up this morning and went to go check on Egg, my broody hen. Today was the due date for the eggs I slipped under her when she went broody. I stuck my hand under her and I could feel chicks!!!!! I want so bad to lift her up and look at them but I won't. I am SO excited!!! This is my first time ever!! Yay!!! I will post pics once she starts showing em off and we can have a naming party.

I have 3 cats, including Diablo my Main Coon and my Avatar. I have two dogs, 1 bunny and a growing population of Chickens. Oddly enough the animals all get along and take care of each other. It is very strange but the bunny, dogs, cats and chickens all love each other.

Glad they all get along.....that is surprising that the cat's don't chase the chickens

Yeah it is kind of surprising, especially since they are avid mouse hunters. Go figure. In other news I slipped outside and sprained my back taking the chickens treats. Ouch it hurts!
