anyone else out there think rollercoasters are the greatest form of entertainment on Earth?

Have any of you ridden any super famous coasters? I rode "Superman: The Escape" and I think it's one of the best coasters on the planet. I have never had a bigger adrenaline rush. INSANE air time.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of money but I hope to soon travel to Cedar Point for a rollercoaster weekend (they have the most coasters (17) of any one theme park in the world and also more rides (75))

Some of their best ones;

Blue Streak: Wooden Ride from '62

Magnum XL-200: (First coaster to top 200ft)

Millenium Force: (300ft+!!)

Top Thrill Dragster: (Incredible 420ft high!)

Some coasters from different parks I really want to ride:

Wildebeest: (Worlds longest water coaster & has LIM)

Apollo's Chariot (Super smooth awesome ride)

Son Of Beast! (Best wooden coaster in the world, currently closed because it burst a blood vessel in a womans brain!)

Any other enthusiasts feel free to post your thoughts, comment about rides you love/want to ride etc.!

I'll ride the metal ones, but I really prefer the old wooden coasters. Haven't been on one in about a decade. I really really wanna ride soon.

You live in Ohio!!! You have Cedar Point and King's Island on your doorstep, with Kennywood right across
the PA border to the south and Waldameer in Erie at the north! No excuse!

Some of my favorites....

Great Adventure (Jackson NJ)
El Toro - THE BEST WOODEN COASTER EVER
King Da Ka - not as good as Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point, but still takes your breath away

I made it out to cedar point, but only for a day. Millenium Force was an awesome ride and Top thrill dragster was just the best coaster I've ever been on (although I was hoping we didn't make it to the top so they'd have to send us 2x).

Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens was my favorite coaster there.

I haven't been to Kings Dominion in a long time (over 20 years) so I couldn't tell you about the coasters there.

We have been going to Wildwood, nj for a very long time and the sea serpent is my favorite coaster there. (although a little tame now it was awesome 20 years ago)

Dorney Park has a few good coasters and is about 90 minutes from here.

Hershey Park - for some reason we really don't go to Hershey Park very often. I haven't been in over 10 years.

My biggest issue is that theme parks are so expensive anymore. A single ticket to Great Adventure is more than $50....that is to stand in line for 2+ hours for a coaster usually. The fast pass makes for a better but more expensive day.
