Davenkay, keep in mind that vaping is not smoking. If your new to vaping and looking for something to equate to the flavors of smoking, your probably going to be disappointed.
I've tried some of the tobacco's mentioned in this thread, and most of them taste more like a base flavor (different vendors use different ones), such as lemon, chocolate, etc, than they do tobacco. At least to me. I wasn't aware of this at first, and when I ordered some tobacco flavors and smelled them I actually thought they had been contaminated, to the point that I contacted the vendors about it and asked if it was possible. I was assured they weren't, so I came to the conclusion that many of these so called tobacco flavors really aren't straight up tobacco flavors. That said, apparently steeping can improve the tobacco flavor and soften the additional flavors, but I've yet to experience that (about 1-2 weeks of steeping so far).
In my personal, limited experience, Johnson Creek has flavors that actually smell and taste like tobacco (mostly sweet though). However, they also appear to use some sort of liquid smoke flavoring, which reminds one of smoking, but can get overpowering if vaped for a long time.
My personal recommendation is to order as many sample packs as you can from some of the vendors mentioned, and maybe even some from ones that aren't mentioned a lot. Your tastes may GREATLY vary from the folks recommending flavors here. Your expectations may also change once you begin to sample different juices. For instance, I rather like a hint of chocolate in my tobacco flavors (or is it the other way around?), and one vendor in particular mentioned here seems to have it in all their base tobacco's. I've also heard of people chasing that elusive perfect flavor (whether it tobacco, vanilla, coffee), only to find to their surprise that the freebie sample of watermelon they got was the best thing they'd ever vaped (just an example). Try to keep an open mind and try as many different things as you can.
