hello Mike...Your original post looks exactly the same as the one you posted a few months ago. I also see some of the posts youve recieved today are from the same people offering suggestions to help you. I think you must have tried just about everything to turn youself on to vapeing , maybe it isnt for you , I think most people want to quit when they begin the vapeing journey, I didnt want to quit after 25yrs I was quite happy smoking but I tried vapeing and quit by accident really. I have had issues with vapeing, I have a Pg allergy and I am yet to find a juice that delights me but, I have started so I will continue to vape as its probably a safer alternative to smoking and Im hopeing I will eventually reap some health benefits ( I have had spine surgery and my surgeon insisted on my quitting) I read ShogaNinjas guide to vapeing when I first started and it was most usefull. He has suggested hypnosis and I would say thats a good alternative for you. Good Luck with your venture I hope you manage to set up your function centre. :)

Not hardly. IMO, anyone who hasn't tried a Viva Nova or > hasn't given vaping a "proper" shot.

Not sure why you would say this as it was successful for me, minus the any additional accessories. In fact, I am vaping away right now. :D

@quitcig: After TWO YEARS of trying to make the switch, ego batts and clearomizers (and 24mg nic) did the job for ME, and I hope it'll do the job for you, too! I have a kanger t3 coming this week, so I'll get a chance to try it for comparison.

My favs so far are the Vivi Nova, CE4 clearomizers and CE2 fluxomizers. (I'm not a fan of cartomizers. :glare:)

I came across this thread the long way. I heard about your vape event on the St. Louis Vapors' FB page, which linked me to your web site where I read your story (it was moving, candid and inspiring) then I found your current thread on ECF, but I am too much of a newbie to post on the Big Boys page.

I love your idea! And I will pass the word.

I started vaping about a month before you did last year, but I seem to have had a much better time of it. I found the ECF and read for days on end, and soon after I started I found the St. Louis FB group.

If my experience and this thread has taught me anything, is that vaping is pretty easy, once you find the right right set up. There are many variables, so getting to that point depends a little on luck, a lot of trying and a key ingredient: support from those who have been through it.

St. Louis has some quality bricks and mortar shops and a fun, supportive and active FB group. But people still need to know where to look. I feel a moral imperative to spread the word, help others find their way and help CASAA fight to keep vaping legal for everyone.

Your idea is brilliant, and extremely generous. I would like to attend, but I will be moving across the country in the spring so I won't be able to plan ahead. Put me on your list of "maybes," because I will go if I can. I will make sure to let all of my smoker friend know about it (most, including my mother are now vapers too!). What a great way to start vaping! Free good equipment and helpful and supportive people all over the place.

Congrats on your efforts!

Seeing as the OP doesn't like the taste of plastic, I wouldn't suggest a nova. I think a nice rba would be much better. The Trivecca from okcvapes is pretty flawless.

I'll be checking those out, for sure. Thanks for the info.

In the meantime, I'm not as sure as you are that the OP actually knows what a Vivi Nova is really like, having apparently never tried one, but rather, seeming to base his decision not to try one on someone else's opinion that they tasted like plastic, an opinion I don't share, although I might just not know what I'm missing, which is always a nice state of affairs.

Just kind of trolling, if you will. I have tried every clear-o/tank-o in the book and never had good results. 1 burnt or dry hit is enough for me. Also, I'm a vaper not a fiddler.

About the trivecca, they are just the same as any other cheap RBA that works I would assume. Using them with cotton or bamboo wicks.

Just curious ... have you ever tried a Vivi Nova? They're the most fiddle-free attachment I've ever used. Certainly not saying I've tried them all; not even close.

Indeed I have. Untill these things defeat gravity coils on top are not gonna work, but thats not to say bottom coil clear-o's work (for me) either.

That's kinda like saying that trees don't work, since they too rely on capillary action to move liquid in the opposite direction that gravity would otherwise have them take.

That said, the Bulli A2-TM might be worth taking a look at, since it has the liquid moving in your favored direction.

Well I'm gonna go ahead and say it then. Trees don't work.

OK, that was good. You have a new admirer. :toast:

This may be true...but it's only because nobody will hire them.

It's them damn illegal alien trees doing the work that the natural-born American trees are unwilling to do - like grow on the sides of cliffs and hairy crap like that.

I have tried and never liked any of the clearos, all the Vision types, the CE's whatever the number, etc., and was exclusively resigned as a dripper only. I kept hearing about vivi nova's and figured forgetaboutit...they are all the same. I finally got one and now I haven't dripped for about 6 months and have 6 of them! lol. But don't try them because they need to be in stock when I need new heads! You just won't like them! Trust me! :)

BTW, LMAO at gamadnechmad and John D above!
