Since getting the V2 Jan 15th, charging the batteries and starting to use it Jan 16th, it has quickly become my ONLY mobile device (I only carry a 510 PCC if my V2 batteries run down). I love 5v vaping! (Use my VP 5volt Passthrough on a/c at home).

I just can't believe the V2's vapor on my 510 attys and the batteries life last me from 9-5 without a problem. I find that I have to cut the strength of my juice at 5v (I'm content at the 16mg. level now).

Just got home to my fully charged batteries.

3 drops on the atty, full cart. I'm scared as hell to fry my atty.......yep flooded :(

Tail piped it...........very strong hit! Not warm like the Protege, this can get hot (go figure 5v). 8-o

1 more drop on the atty, replaced full cart.....flooded again. Man were is my Protege?

Blew the atty out just a little, 1 drop on atty - 3 second hit good to go I think. :p

Trying out my Blueberry tester....pretty tasty.

I may have to put a drop on the atty again....Hmmmmmm, yeah I am thinking this is a "Dripping Mod" ?

This is not my review by the way, these are just first impressions as I sit here and play with it for the first time.

Geez I don't want to fry my atty!!!!!!!

1 more drop on the atty and 1 drop in the cart.....nice hit.

Yeah there's gonna be a learning curve here. I doubt you'll be able to hit this as much as the Protege as your day progresses.

Not sure I want to hit this thing at night......may have to be my "Day Hitter" good name for it. My "Day Hitter"

I will take a couple more hits and then go back to the Protege for the rest of the night. ;)

First impressions only.

5v uses more juice and it just takes getting use to how much you need.
Like you, I switch from 3.7 to 5 and back again. each one has its merits..

.... -- You may find it best to use 3.7v throughout the day, then switch to 5v a night ;) I used to do that quite frequently. Now, I just 5v and tailpipe it all day -- If I feel adventurous, I run down and grab a copper ring for 6v :)

Really I would have thought just the opposite.

I'll work it out I am sure.

I'll keep you posted Steve, thanks for the juice.

I love 5v on my PT but also love the portability of the 3.7v device size for when out and about... Speaking of..... my Protege shipped today!!!

Yes! Might have to sell the eGo/Tornado once it arrives...

You guys are faaaaaaaast.... I just ordered it last night.... Whoohooo.... A new toy on the way...

ETA: Sorry... Didn't mean to hijack the thread.... But wanted to post on the 5v -vs- 3.7v and could not contain my excitement for the new toy!

That's exactly what I do. My Protege is my at-the-office and errand-running device. My Prodigy V2 is my use-at-home device.

Not to hijack the thread, but this is sort of related, I think...

I had planned on sharing one atty between my Protege and Prodigy like I did when I ran my V1 at 3.7v. But I found I got zero throat hit from my Protege after using the atty on my V2. Do atty's not like changing voltage like that?

I started a new atty for my Protege, and everything was back to normal. My old (2 week old one) is back on my V2 working great. And my new one is on my Protege.

Holy Moly -- It **** your Username D-I-C-K-W :) LOL. :)

Yeah wasn't thinking, I use the same username on another site, no problems.
I am not going to change it though, tried to keep it simple.......it just happens to be my name.

I wondered why after I put my name after posting something it would come up showing 4 dots ....

I must be vulgar :D

This does make sense, I noticed my atty was harder to draw on after trying out the V2 and switching it back to the Protege.........I figured the addition heat on the V2 did it.

I boiled it last night, vaping away on the Protege now, good as new.

I am going to use the advise and use the Protege during the day and switch out to the V2 at night and see how that goes.

I have some N-Haler that is 12 mg, I'll give it a shot.......it's some really thick juice. Should prevent a blpw out while I am in my learning curve.;)

That gives me a new theory. I wonder if the higher voltage is 'cooking' the liquid onto the atty. And then the 3.7v device can't get hot enough to get through the cooked-on gunk. But boiling the atty cleaned it out.

Just a theory...

Just wanted to add that I too am loving my V2. Charged the batts, popped them in and got a solid 7 hours out of them. Pretty damn good I think, plus they charge fast. No issues so far what so ever. I was a little freaked when the first set of batts died as I just all of a sudden got no vapor. Popped in new ones, and back again. I can't see how anyone could possibly discharge these things to the brink of catastrophic break down. Anyways, thanks Puresmoker for a sexy, well made PV.

I'm using a 510. Maybe they're affected like that but others aren't? hmmm

I let mine drain overnight too. I blow them out when I think they need them. But otherwise, don't do any kind of maintenance. I have cleaned a few with Efferdent with OK results.

(Disclaimer: I didn't say my theory was a good one... LOL)

I am boiling this atty every night, I want to see what kind of life I get by doing this. So far I am at 3 weeks same atty. I use 1 atty for both units.

When I first started I went through 3 in a month, so I just wanted to see what boiling every night would do.

This is just a test.
