So I got my 3 shipments in today. 1 from R&R vaporz (1 black 510 atty)
cigtech(10 prefilled 510 carts 0nic) and the vapor room(1 510 black battery)

I happily open my packages and fit together the bat and atty and one of my new carts which happens to be a round tip. (thought i'd try it out) I take a look at the atty and notice the bridge is bent a tad bit side ways.. and I start getting nervous. I had read somewhere and seen that a slanted bridge means it's a knock off. Great.

I wedge on the cart.. trying to make sure it's sealed and on there. Took me a second was really stiff. Get it on, take a good drag and I get a decent puff.. so I try again and nothing.. nothing is coming out.. atty is heating up, I can feel it but nothing is happening. SO I try to pull the cart off. Can't. HAD to get pliers! So I finally get the dang cart out of the atty and I am NOT happy. So I try one of my normal carts on the atty, it won't fit without shoving it in there.. wonderful! The atty seems like it's too small!

So I go to try one of my new carts on my old atty.. still won't fit. WTF!? Seriously?!

So I don't know what to do. I'm really very angry at this point. I now have 9 carts I can't use. I have an atty that no carts will fit it. What do I do??? I'll try and attach a picture of the atty bridge and the carts for you guys. Give me about 10 mins to take the pics.

**EDIT**
K I tried one of my carts not the new ones, shoved it on there.. been vaping it.. and literally.. the paint on the atty is falling off! OMG >_< and btw my phone is being slow to e-mail me my photos.. still waiting.. guess I'll take a new one of the paint job.. -sighs-
*EDIT2*
Noticed that my carts I got with my kit are a fraction smaller in length than the new carts I received today. I can't get a clear picture of the bent bridge, my poor phone camera won't do it lol. I don't think I have a fake one.. checked some photos and mine seems ok on the legit side, but the fact I can't fit one cart in there without using the jaws of life to get it out is a tad irritating plus the whole paint falling off really is not fun.

It's been my experience that 510 attys are tight in the beginning, but, after repeated heating and cooling the cartridges slip right on. Just use one cart and one atty for a day or two, the atty should open right up.

I'd be happy to but then I couldnt get the cart out to refill it or top it off LOL. I'm more afraid of it being a junky knock off. trying to get my pics to upload to me e-mail

You know how to use an emry board? Sand down the cart a little where it fits into the atty.:thumb:

ooo! I didn't even think about that. Thanks so much for the tip. I know my dad has some sand paper and some smoothing things to help with that. Thanks so much for the idea

imho its not a genuine joye atty that you recieved. usually a knock off tends to be a bit different in size, thats why your carts arent fitting correctly. welcome to the world of plentiful knockoffs. to help against this happening make sure to always ask the supplier if they really are carrying authentic joyetech stuff.

I do hope I can at least get a refund or replacement. I'm on a budget right now and I can only afford one atty at this current moment, I got it on sale and was really happy I did, but now I'm learning sale=bad sometimes lol.

First thing I notice, is 3 separate places for one complete e cig. Don't understand the logic in that one. I'm looking around and have to question the vapor room. Looking at the pic of 510, I notice the qc card. Joye doesnt do qc cards. Its not advertised as such, but not advertised as any manufacturer. But parts generally are interchangable 510 to 510. On the other hand, I've also seen that cart issue with joye atties and carts taking a hammer to get on, pliers to get off. Only happened once, but its happened. Good suppliers will replace defective units. Stick with KNOWN suppliers and complete kits to start hun, then venture off once you know the score and your ready to write some reviews. But 4 months in, I recon you know this...good tip chris

Asking if a supplier sells authentic joyetech will not always recieve an honest answer btw..
There are a lot of ppl on the market now. Some are honest about NOT being joye. If the kits has qc cards, its not joye, thats slb. Not sure about boge. Vapor room-The price and his stock quantity along with QC card gave me red flag. Finding a joye atty for 4 bucks..unheard of, especially as a single unit. Totally wicked does have the e-nic compact kits for 35 bucks now..usually 6 bucks for shipping. those I know are joye. Strictly e juice is cheap, but last 4 kits I got from them werent joye. Its hard to pay the price at first for known quality, but it does pay off. Before ya know it you have a huge tackle box like I do. And I started haveing to wait 2 weeks to save 150 bucks for my first junk e cig :)
