Hello everyone,

Three days tobacco free, now, and I feel fine! I'm probably vaping like a fog machine (hard to tell... I'm going through maybe 2 or 3 of the default eGo cartridges per day with 24mg liquid, whatever that equates to, but it seems like I'm always having a puff or three), but hey - as long as it keeps me off the coughin' nails, then I'm happy. I am starting to smell again (cue snarky remarks about deodorant) and I think taste is returning, as well. I'm also hungry as all get-out. Not sure what that's about, but whatever. I can live with it.

I'm starting to appreciate GR's Burley for the more subtle flavours I can glean from it now, though I do notice that it tends to sting the throat a bit if I overdo it. Not sure if that's just dry hits, or too much nic, or what. Tasty Vapor's Boston Cream Pie is absolute heaven. I'm trying to ration that one to last as long as I can make it last. Definitely on my reorder list, for sure.

Quick question - any issues with making a Boge LR carto work with an eGo battery just on its own? I did a quick search, and people are saying that it should thread on just fine, but I'm also reading things about there being gaps and adding drip tips and such. I presume most of that deals with customization and odd scenarios, but I thought I'd just make sure.

Anyway, a big thank you to everyone on here. I'm feeling great, and I have you guys to thank for it. All of your information that I've read over the past few weeks has been extremely helpful, and everyone here that I've dealt with has been very accommodating and supportive.

Yours one day at a time,
Mike

You shouldnt have any issues with putting/using a boge LR carto on an eGo batt, they are exactly what you want to use on one of them actually (until you venture into something like a Stardust and what not). Drip tips are a must for me. I just pop the little rubber piece out and pop on a drip tip, much more comfortable on the mouth, and you can get some pretty stylin' drip tips. Congrats on going three days, and keep it up! One day at a time mane.

Congrats on the three day milestone! It only gets better from here on in, even though you will need to be a little patient with your body as it gets used not dealing with all the toxins and crap that come with cigarettes!
Seeing as you will be reordering from GR, give their Irish Cream a try, it's awesome!

As far as the Boge Carto on an eGo batt, you shouldn't have any problems except the odd time you might need to pull out the center post of the carto a bit with a paper clip if it doesn't make contact with the batt. As far as using a drip tip with a carto, the answer is yes, you will want one for a few reasons. Plus they are cheap, so throw a few on your next order and try them out, but I can guarantee you that once you use one, you won't want to go back to sucking on a bare carto tip.

Congrats, man! My biggest advice is if you slip, don't kick yourself too much and try to keep vaping. Many people seem to just switch from one to the other no problem, but I had big problems getting off the analogs. It took about 4-5 months where I was not having one every day or two (this is down from a pack a day or more).
Otherwise, there's nothing I can say about boges or drip tips which hasn't been said better above.
GRBC Sundown with chocolate-hazelnut additive is my current favorite tobacco vape.
Lastly, it wouldn't surprise me if your throat is hurting from too much nic. I started with some pretty strong nic, and my throat felt horrible by the end of the day. Ramped down with the next order, and felt better. I like vaping between 12 - 18mg. It's pretty subjective, but I find that range gives me the best balance of flavour vs nicotine content.

I had a sneaking suspicion it might be the nic content. I had a similar sensation when huffing on those gawdawful nicotine inhalers before.

I've got 3 more juices on the way in 18 instead of 24, so I'll be seeing what kind of difference that makes.

If you like fruit vapes, i just reviewed a new GRBC flavor, Cherry Limeade, it is outstanding.......it is not available on the site yet but should be very soon, I also have a review of the TV Rainbow Sherbet done (not uploaded yet) it is very good as well.

Awesome. I just got some Sherbet myself and am looking forward to giving it a shot.

Ooooooh, Cherry Limeade, eh? Cherry and lime just happen to be two of my most favourite fruit flavours of all time. I'll have to keep a close eye on Daniel's site and snag me a bottle when it comes in.

PS - Just watched your review, actually, and I *so* remember those lime popsicles; hands-down my favourite popsicle flavour of all time.
