I got into this DIY thing because I can't order my favorite flavor fast enough. All I want is a straight-up peach. I've had a few successes.. a good cranberry lemonade, a decent orange, a very good pomagranate, but I cannot figure out the peach!!! I got a big bottle of peach from Flavor West and it's not the peach I'm looking for. So today I got FlavourArt peach and white peach from Liberty Flights. They smell exactly like what I'm looking for! Finally, I thought! This peach is gonna be perfect!!!

NOT!

I always use the calculator, I started at 70/30, 10% flavor. Blech! No peach flavor at all. As a matter of fact, no flavor of any kind. So added a few more drops. Nothing. Ended up at 20% flavor and still nothing. A few drops of sweetener, nadah. What in the world am I doing wrong? I thought fruits were usually good without steeping. And I'm not convinced that steeping is going to help the flavorless mess I've got going. Am I missing something here?? I refuse to give up, but frankly it's pretty disappointing. Can any of you guys help me out here???

Aging makes a difference -- it may just need to steep a bit for the flavors to fully present themselves. Or perhaps their interpretation of peach doesn't work for you.

Its not the answer you're looking for -- but you might give Nature's Flavors organic coffee bean line a try:

Organic Flavors for coffee beans

They have 2 different varieties of all-organic peach available. I've got both on order, but if their strawberry daiquiri is any indicator, 15-20% is a good percentage of flavor to base.

Sometimes TOO much flavor can overwhelm the tastebuds and you won't taste anything at all.

and sometimes dehydration causes my vape to be "off". I would try water first, both inside of you and perhaps some distilled or whatever else you use to thin (PG/VG) in the juice to dilute it. At this point, I wouldn't even worry about the nic level, just try to get the flavor you want so you won't be wasting the expensive nic. Since you are already at 70 PG, we at least know it isn't the VG not carrying flavor.

Good luck! I hope you get what you are looking for. I never could with fruits though, they just never sang for me.

Thanks guys!! Lemon juice, huh? And I've seen the vinegar trick too. The lemon juice like in that little plastic lemon from the grocery store? I'll do a fresh batch tomorrow at 5% flavor with a drop of lemon juice. I'm pretty sure the sweetener I have is sucralose, but I"ll have to check the bottle. Appreciate the responses!

I don't have any experience with peach in e-juice, but I've brewed beer with peach before and it's a brutal flavor to capture properly. It can't be replicated with anything else, or even approximated. From what I understand, the chemistry that gives peach its flavor is very unstable, so even a pure extract will lose that peach taste over time.

I really havent had a problem with peach. 10-15% TFA Juicy Peach works for me. BUT! I need to mix it with another fruit. Add 2-3 % Pomegranate, Apple, or Watermellon. Black Tea also works well.

I think the peach molecoles like company. I also use EM.

I also second the lemon juice. I always top my juices with 1 drop per 5mls. Some people use more.

Peach was my first real success at DIY. I use TFA Peach (NOT juicy peach). Yes, Lemon juice directly from the yellow plastic lemon. I use Apple Cider Vinegar on tobacco flavors that aren't cooperating. You might think about using TFA Smooth or FA MTS Vape Wizard, VERY LIGHTLY.. like 1 drop every 5ml.

Awesome! I got some of that Vape Wizard stuff but was unsure how to use it. I planned to do some reading up about that but I'll take your advice.. thanks!
