Pros: the Rev is like a Reo

Cons: it's not a Reo.

Seriously though, I had a Rev 2.1 and I thought I loved it til I got my Reo. The needle system with the tilt and squeeze works ok, but the squonk of the Reo is much more satisfying.

I'm glad I owned a Rev, a great introduction to bottom feeding, but If you can afford it, get the Reo.

Thanks guys.. I think my vaping hardware taste will mature in time as I gain more experience and time with different hardware. I guess its like red wine, and I am not ready for the next $ bracket of hardware until I get to try all the different options .

Heck 2 days ago I only wanted to get another kit so the better half and I each had one, and I was bugging everyone for information to make sure I didn't purchase anything other than another kit. Now i am thinking of getting 2 or 3 differnt kinds lol

Nooooo! damn you and your truths!

I need to get a hardware vendor drunk enough to agree to send a noob hardware to give opinions on....

hmm when is the next vape meet? Surely the amount of tequilla I would need to pay for would be cheaper :D

On a more serious note, yeah I have been bitten, the more reading and reviews I watch the more things I am wondering what it would be like to have lol

What, you think vendors can be bought off with cheap mezcal? No, my friend. Nothing less than a bottle of 20-year-old single malt will do, and even that's just getting you over the line. You may also have to dance for their amusement and possibly show their undesirable sister a good time next time she's in town. (But not too good. It's a fine line.)

Yeah, reviews have been responsible for no small few of my own purchases and enormous wish list. Being a reviewer though does have the nice side benefit of letting me scratch a few of those off the list. :D

Ok I have unintentionally lied...lol

I have decided to wait for the SS lavatube. ( unless by the time they come in I find something else that I think is shiny! )

So you crazy lavatubers.. what else should I be getting to make my lavatube experience awesome sauce?

If I understand correctly DCT's aren't the best fit for a lavatube? Is there a shiny tank that is?

I seem to have HADD (Hardware ADD ) but even if I see something else it looks like the lavatube is an addition I will still get.

I have 3 reo's. I've seen what a rev 2 looks and vapes like in person and it ain't no reo by a long shot. Not to knock down the rev 2, especially to those who have them and are completely satisfied with their vaping performance. The rev 2 is a great low cost introduction into the whole bottom feeding mod thing.

The one and only likeness a rev 2 compared to a reo is that they are both bottom fed mods. But that's where the similarities end. There are reasons it is a 1/3 of the price of a reo.

Although I can't speak from experience because I don't have one - the provari is (so I've read, been told, have seen) is one of the best pv's out there.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

If you decide on a reo grand just be prepared to wait. And wait... And wait some more, for one you like to become available. I snoozed a couple of times and missed so I am still waiting. But I will get one at some point before I die. Looks like they are completely sold out right now!

I'm pretty much in the same boat with the Revo ... I'm picking one up tomorrow. For $40 it does get me into the world of bottom feeding and I will see what its like before I want to put in the time and cash into a Reo.
I have look into the Reo understand that there is little the same ... but no one has told me in what way. All I've read is that "it's way better" In what way? Battery life? fit and finnish? Vape? Flavor? What is it that makes the time worth it?
I would wait if someone tells me it improves vape and flavor but I just can't see it, unless the unregulated battery makes that much difference.
I'm going to pick one up tomorrow with a few different atties to try it out unless someone can tell me why it's better to get the Reo

I own a Reo Mini and a ProVari. ProVari for the couch, Reo for out and about.

Can't wait for the Reo VV to come out. I'll wait the weeks til they're ready and try my hand at getting either that or a kicked Reo Grand.

All you have to do is hold one and you'll know.

The rev, as has been stated before is a great intro to bottom feeding. It worked ok, and then I had problems.

My revolution had leaking issues, needed a second bottle and needle assembly, came apart when I squeezed hard, looked terrible with spilled juice on there, had a useless alien light feature, had to be tilted to use and needed to be plugged in.

My Reo feels and looks great, never a leaking issue, is easy to open and exchange the battery and bottles, and is easy to squonk. ;)
