To get started.I guess you know the issues with this product.
I now want to stepup to high quality. But I'm not exactly sure where to start. It appears that the 510 is highly popular and the Big Chuck seems to be well liked.
From this point I don't know what I need or don't.A lot of discussions include items that I have never heard.
Price is an issue but I don't want to buy 3 times due to my stupidity. I believe the 6v will work for me.
If someone will tell me what to buy and where I'll do it.
Thanks,John

Well, welcome to the wacky world of vaping!

The Chuck, both big and little, are well liked. There's also a slew of others that are also highly regarded. Unfortunitly there's no one-size-fits-all solution. I'm actually looking to get my first high voltage unit and can't decide between a few of them. My only real suggestion is to get one with flexibilty (i.e. adapters for different attys and possibly different battery configuration like 3.7v and 6v).

From my research most people say 5v is the sweet spot (some find 6v too much) but a good quality long lasting 3.7v might be all you need.

If you post what you do/don't like (i.e. not enough vapor, too little throat hit, terrible battery life, etc.) about the dragon I'm sure people will chime in on what units would better fit your needs. Also a brief description of your vaping habits such as mobile/sitting at desk and desire/ability to drip/refill and also whether you're a light/heavy vaper. All those things would help determine which unit is right for YOU.

Just my $.01

Here is a link to the many suppliers listed on this forum; ECF Approved Suppliers - E-Cigarette Forum

Some good suppliers I would suggest looking at would be;
Puresmoker
JantyUSA
Nhaler
Super T Manufacturing
Thag Built/The Chuck
Ikenvape

This list is not all inclusive but these all make quality MOD's and I would also suggest reading a lot. There are a lot of questions and replies from knowledgeable people on this forum.

Also if you haven't already done so read;http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...strated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-6-a.html
It's long but very informative. You will find what you want, good luck.

Quite a few have 5 volt or 6 volt, some that can do 3.7, 5 & 6 volts. My understanding is that no current store bought 1.2 or 1.5 volt AA batteries will power an atomizer that needs at least 3.7 volts. The high MHA batteries like 2400 & 3000 will last along time but don't have the voltage required. I think all 6 volt MOD's use at least 2 3.7 volt batteries.

You had an M401 Dragon from TrueSmoker and didn't like it?... or maybe you are talking about a RED Dragon? Red Dragon I can understand but a TS Dragon, I just can't understand that.
Outside of my Chuck my M401 Phoenix (Girly version of the TS Dragon) is my favorite. Gives the most analog log like hit for me.
JD's Dragon is a good quality e-cig. If that was the case, Sorry it didn't work out for you. But if it wasn't maybe you want to clarify it.
