Hi guys I've been on these forums since early June and Ive been vaping since June 26th and then decided to make the Nico stik mod most ppl don't realize that the 510 is only 3 - 3.2 V it says on the bottom of the starter kit, while a nico stik battery is 4.2 V with PCB fully charged. It onl.y goes as low as 3 V before it shuts off so I must say havingf powerful colnsistent vapor for 12 hours straight on an MAH vapingf afew puffs every 20 min is awesome no charging I hated bringing the wall charger with me as I figured why buy PCB when I could make this mod.

Anyways I wanted to say I used the switch but I just twist tied the wires onto the switch and used epoxy to hold wiring in place on atty and its working great. NO solder no mess no fuss anyways anyone who doesnt make one of these has no excuse it costs me 6$ for charger $4 for 2 900Mah batterries 3 bucks for tghe case and 10$ for the atty so the unit cost me 14 dollars with charger and shipping from hong kpong free airmail and some local toronto parts. Sory it's my Birthday and I jsut got home from the bar I know I messed up the spelling but I am too drunk too check, haha thanks for understanding.

Good Luck and Happy vaping.

P.S. I can vape 6mg with nice throat hit with this 24 and 36 is too high for me now.
I like 18 with the Nico.

Now that you are comfortable with making mods (they are all pretty much the same), you really should look at soldering connections for future mods. They solder doesn't just help hold the connect, the primary purpose is to ensure a permanent conductive connection. The better the conductivity of the connections, the better and more consistent the vapour.

Grats on your first mod.

I think the conductive glue (like this one at www dot allelectronics dot com/make-a-store/item/WG-1/CONDUCTIVE-GLUE-0.3-FL.OZ./-/1.html) with shrink tube wrapped around would work better than epoxy.

(Four more post to be able to post urls... annoying)

alright guys my webcam if officially dead, Thanks for all the words of encouragement so I'll try and answer the connections. Inorder to connect the positive tyo connector I stripped enough plastic off of the red wire to make a fairly thick wire "plug" for lack of a better word the plug fits into the hole of the ba that fit into the hole of the auto bastt connectory easy and fairly snug with no epoxy and then I added a small very small amount of epoxy to the bottom of connector with wire in and let set then I put the black wire negative to the hole I made for the connector and put the connector over it. Then I added liberal amounts of epoxy all over the sides of the connector connected to the casing but again I used enough epoxy but not very muvch of it compared to the pics I see on here. When it gets hot it gets loose as the epoxy warms aswell but not so loose its a problem. I added an led to the connector so when the main switch is on the led is on and when I take a hit the lked tujrns off its cool being opposite in my p
inion and nice safety faeture to know hwther the main switch is on or not and to test connections.

I reccomend all first timers connect and led to there push switch as it lets youy know if yourt connections are made. Also guys thanks for the links I was lookming in stores for something liek metal glue but couldn't find any. P.S. in Toronto go to Active Surplus on Queen and college in Toronto Downtown it's like a Modders paradise magnum batts so many boxes I want to make a 4.5V with 3 AAA or 3 AA more disposable for clubs and drinking nights.

Also my first mod I put a cardboard tube around the trustfire 3.7B battery then duck taped it then I added a screw with a wir5e to it. I then did the same with another cardboard picece to make a tube that fit over the first one. I added the screw and wire I connect them to RCA connector then added 510 atty. I would push it together to take a hit then pull it apart to stop. Looked ghetto felt like a high tech FIend but thought that even if E cigs get banned we should be able to get atttys shipped from china as computer parts or something in the future. and its focalprice.com I thought it was scam and I lost my money but it came in 10 days or 15 days soemwhere between there to get to Toronto Canada from Hong Kong.

I'll make an MS paint of my Box and my first mod the reason I made the first was I was waiting to get paid to get the boxes but I had the batteries cause since I didn;t think the batteries were really coming I didn't buy anything or get prepared but I am going to get a solder Iron next weekend and do it proiperly.

Also in my opininion 5 volt smoking is too high as I also made a mod with a PSP charger because it outputs 5 volts its a wicked USB wall charger just I lost one atty on it but I think that the 5V kills your **** attys and tells you which of your attys will last forever I've had one for 6 weeks now and it going great.

first 3 week I went through 4.

just using the 510.

5 volts from a wall power supply and 5 volts from a battery very different worlds.
