I was just about to post my blog entry, and I had my PV in my mouth, and it just... slipped right out and into a cup of coffee, cart-first... Luckily I pulled it out in time where there was NO damage done... but that was CLOSE!

Now I see what back-ups are for, once getting used to your PV becomes second nature: it's not because I kill attys, batteries, and other parts by trying to get the PV... it's because we have one of those situations that just... SOMEHOW happen!

Close call but now I'm really thankful for ordering backups yesterday

Scary! Haha I've been paranoid about dropping my Inferno, especially because of the nice design/finish on it.

I almost dropped my $100.00 GLV2 with a $5.00 drip style carto on it in the toilet the other day. That would have really sucked.

I did this my very first morning after I bought my first kit at the mall. I plopped the battery, LED end first, into a cup of coffee. Slipped right out of my hand. It was an auto battery, too so I thought I had killed it right there but I snatched it up as it bobbed back up and luckily, didn't kill it. Whew! I was sweating there for a minute.

I had TWO pvs in the center console cup holder in my car, along with a 32 oz pepsi. Turned left, pvs and soda fly to passenger side floorboard. I dried them out. They both still work, altough one now has a mine of it's own.

Close call indeed! I'm glad it wasn't ruined. So far I haven't had any close calls with my PVs yet *knocks on wood* but it does remind me of an incident a couple years ago when I left a just opened pack of smokes out on the deck and didn't notice until about a half hour after it started raining.

It was terrifying! It was late at night so I couldn't just go to the mall and buy a (seriously overpriced) battery if it had died! Luckily my back-up and my emergency-back-up 510 will be here very soon!

My reo mini is indestructible. Seriously. I dropped it all the way down an escalator and it survived. Somehow.

That said, every time I try to clean an atty with anything but tap water, I kill it. So I guess cosmically it all works out.
