I can't taste anything

Hi all

For some reason I can't taste any flavour in any of my ejuuce. I an trying rh4, melon and risked yuice. I have tried my dura c and kb classic. I have even tried a new atomizer but nothing - no taste.

I do vape on and off all day. Does vaping leave some kinda film on your taste buds over time? If so, any way to clear it?

did ya try blowing it out of your nose? sounds weird... but sometimes it works..

I'm getting throat hit and tons of vapour just no taste. Tried wives menthol and still no minty taste but I do get that cool effect if you know what I mean.

I've been getting this lately as well, weird. Try using mouthwash and a tongue scraper it helps!

I have found out today that if I went out drinking, the next day (besides having a hangover), my tastebuds are also non existent. Maybe it's from dehydration I don't know. After going barhopping I also burnt my tongue on a hot sandwich last night in my drunken stupor so now it's pretty much both Hoping for a "happier vape day" tomorrow once I get past this. Thought I'd throw his out there since I'm sure some other folks went out Friday night for a few drinks!

I mixed up some Peanut Butter cup last night. Absolutely NO flavor. Kept adding and adding flavor. Ended up with a dram of peanut butter and a dram of chocolate in a 15ml bottle. Should have tasted something, nada! Got up this morning had breakfast brushed teeth. dropped 2 drops and almost gagged!! Had to cut it to tone it down.

Mouse, that kinda backs up the theory that vaping during the day has an effect on the taste buds. I have just tried brushing my teath but now all I can taste is mint LOL. At least I can taste something.

Meave, I will try mouth washing and a tounge scraper. I have noticed that after giving up the analogs that my tounge has lost the furry White coat and is now back to pink.

one thing i will say, if you mouth inhale, you may taste more. like, pull the vapor with only your cheeks and into your mouth, then inhale to your lungs. pulls the flavor into your mouth that way.

i get less flavor if i throat inhale than if i mouth inhale.

I've noticed if you watch the guy who does alot of videos. I think it is e-cig review or something like tht. If he is testing several flavors he will drink coca-cola i think between flavors to rinse the taste. I mixed a bottle of just unflavored and pg/vg. dumped all together and it toned down my peanut butter cup.

What I have noticed since I started vaping is I can feel something around my teeth. It a wierd sensation. Feels like a film or something is coming off my teeth. I've tried to see it in mirror but nothing is there.

I believe that your taste buds get numb over time an can no longer provide you with the flavor excitement you expect. Drinking water or other fluids can clean your palate. Leaving the device alone for an hour can also reset your taste buds. The expereince is totally natural.

have a break from vaping .. about half an hour .. then try again .. then it tastes nice ... or try switching to a different falavour or just get cappacino .. i never get bored of that

i would take a break for a little while, also drain / clean the atomizer, and switch up the flavor - i usually go from a berry type to a coffee type to get the taste buds going again...

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have soMe coffee and some cappachino so will certainly give that ago.

Have just got up and tried my first vape of the morning and whilst not as strong as it has been there is a taste of flavour.

I can 'taste' any new flavour I try for the first day.......and from then on they all taste of nothing and all I get is my nicotine fix.
