I started a thread a few days ago about getting a cigar flavored liquid from a vendor that had no taste. It appears I owe that vendor an apology. I have since recieved 4 more tabacco flavored liquids from another well respected vendor and can not taste tabacco in any of them. I don't have any problem with other flavors but every tabacco flavor I have tried is totally tasteless to me. I am enjoying some RY4 i have but I think it's just the caramel and vanilla I am tasting. What gives? Am I doomed to never finding a tabacco flavor I can enjoy?

Your saying you can't taste the tobacco, correct? Did you dislike the juices, or is it just the absence of the tobacco taste? You could try Goodejuice Organic Tobacco, Natural Perique, or Acadian (or any of the other extracted tobaccos). Are you looking for tobacco taste or combustion equivalency? I only ask because the taste of tobacco is going to be quite different from anything burned, so in essence, you should be able to "taste" tobacco, just in a different way.

p.s. While i have recommended HHV several times, for me, they aren't the most "tobacco" tasting juices. You may want to try Goodejuice's line of tobacco extracts (house brewed).

I understand that the taste of tobacco and the taste of "burned" tobacco are two different things but with these juices I don't really taste anything. I get the slightest hint of freshly turned earth from Gandalf. Haven't really spent enough time with the others to notice any subtle taste but got basically nothing on first vape. I also have a bottle of Havana from EC Blends that has been steeping for a while and all I get is the slightest hint of sweet from that. I will give Goodjuice a try and will probably try WTV's London, Paris and a few others before giving up on tobacco flavors.

You are on the right track with NETs, and you may want to give up on artificially flavored "tobacco" juices for obvious reasons. Try Goodejuice and check back here...as well as W2V.

epetrillo, I do hope you are able to find some tobacco juices you can taste!

That being said, I found that I am unable to taste most bakery/dessert vapes no matter how good the vendor; so yes, those flavor "dead zones" do occur! :(

The good news is, assuming you just quit smoking, your taste buds are going to start healing now and e-juices will taste significantly different to you in a few months than they do now.

Thank you EleanorR. That is encouraging to me. I do love the taste of good pipe tobacco and a good cigar and was hoping to be able to enjoy them guilt free by vaping. I will keep trying the tobacco flavors but in the time being I do enjoy my own concoction consisting of a shot of double dark chocolate and a shot of cinnamon added to RY4.

I apologize if I missed it, but how long have they had a chance to steep? I've found that many complex flavor blends need to sit at least a few weeks after opening them to really come alive, and while I don't do a lot of tobaccos, I've heard this is especially true of them. I'd revisit them after three weeks or so and see if the tobacco comes through for you better then.

I'm a tobacco fan. Very underrated juice supplier is Dark City Vapor Dark City Vapor

Take a look at Turkish Hills, Black Mountain, and Lester. I've been really pleased with those.

And on the HHV blends you mentioned. I agree that they are very lightly flavored; what's there tastes good, just not enough there. Adam can mix them with extra flavoring added to boost the taste for you.

Want 2 Vape / Vapenstein, is the best in my opinion for a cigar , tobacco , pipe , e liquids. A real natural tobacco extracted in house/lab. I like them the best , also try the Red Pirate and Louisville , the list goes on and on.....

Best Wishes......

Whatever keeps you going. Flavor = imitation. Real smokes don't taste all that good anyway. So you'll struggle for a while buying random samples and then some day you'll realize you're filling a tank up with some absurd flavor of juice with a four word long fluffycake name and puffing away and enjoying the hell out of it. Maybe licorice cinnamon chocolate fluffycake? A lot of the flavors you would expect to like might suck and weird ones may be great. All due to what flavorings are available and how they work.

I hope the op comes back to this thread to let us know if the taste ever comes. I still say Natural Perique from Goodejuice. That will at least give you an idea if you do in fact really want to taste tobacco. It is a fantastic juice for tobacco fans! Thanks Optimo for the suggestion, I just ordered more! Woohoo!!!

I placed an order with goodjuice for some Natural Perique, some Vita Bella and some GJ4. Should be here tomorrow so I will let you know. On the positive side I have been revisiting the Gandalf and Pirate's Booty and both are starting to appeal to me. They still don't really taste like tobacco but they do taste good to me and the guy I car pool with loves the smell. Maybe I should lay off my favorite for a while (RY4 with a shot of cinnamon and a shot of double dark chocolate) so I can taste the tobacco flavor better?

I am not one that tastes too much tobacco in these, unless I really focus. It is there, just not very pronounced. Goodejuice on the other hand, leaves no room for guessing--it makes a statement.

Agreed. The Turkish Hills tastes exactly like a pipe tobacco to me. In fact, when I vape it, I don't inhale much. I vape it like I would smoke a pipe since that's what it reminds me of.

I haven't tried Black Mountain or Lester.

Also, I've tried a couple of different Ry4's and neither of them have a tobacco taste to me. In fact, neither of them have much taste at all. But I like them because Ry4 seems to simulate the sensation of smoking a cigarette better than most other juices I've tried. Not the TASTE of a cigarette, just the sensation of the throat and chest hit.

I had a slight chuckle after reading DCV and W2V (Vapenstein Blends or W2V extracts) next to each other. No offense to DCV, but W2V is in the major league and DCV is well...

Dark City Vapor < Want2Vape
or
Dark City Vapor ≠ Want2Vape

Try what you must and like what you will, but these two vendors next to each other are the definition for the word disparate!;)
