I've definitely been chain-vapeing, and I've had to sometimes tell myself put down the PV and step away for a second. lol. I was actually glad that Blue Mist threw in some very low mg sample juice now I use that to off-set the higher mg juice I use so I don't get a headache/rush.

My husband asked me (Just last night in fact) if I wasn't just still addicted, and I "smoked" more now than I did when I was smoking cigarettes. I said, yep, but it is costing me WAY WAY LESS, AND I CAN BREATHE. My sinuses have cleared up, and my smoker's cough is gone, and I'm not inhaling a bazillion nasty chemicals and tar that causes cancer... so yep, I'm VAPEING more, but loving it.

Chain vaping is fine. Most new members and some older members still chain vape. I don't, but I seem to almost always have a PV in my hand whether I'm vaping on it, or not.......LOL.......but however you vape, if you still have cravings for an analog, you need to up your nic level. Older members who are chain vaping are probably vaping just because they like it so much, but are usually vaping on a lower nic content.

I keep my PV handy at all times too and it seems to be satisfying my analog craving. I really have no desire to taste an analog again. The thought of that taste in my mouth is just horrifying. I think I vape so much just because I like the flavors I have to choose from. I am going to try a little stronger nic and see if it makes a difference on how much I vape.

I've chain vaped off and on since I've started vaping, it goes in streaks. Lower nicotine levels, stress, boredom, find me chain vaping. But, it sure beats the chain smoking that I was known to do during those same times. The chain smoking though was quadrupled though... the smoke rising from the end constantly filling the air with smoke, the inhale, the exhale, breathing back in the exhale because it lingered in the air, combined with lighting up one from one... well, you get the picture. Nasty nasty stuff those cigs. With my eCig, I vape so much less it's ridiculous. Plus I don't crave a vape while I'm taking a vape. I also don't have the jitters and anger from trying to avoid a cig. I'm happy.

I've smoked for 35+ years also. I tried an e-cig a from my local tobacco shop a couple of years ago, but there was no-joy in it, so I put it away. A year ago I bought a Blu and liked it, but I couldn't get my girl friend to quit with me, so again, I put it away.

Six weeks ago I decided I was going to quit analogs no matter what, so I started using the patch and dug out my old Blu. That combo worked well for a couple of weeks, but the Blu just didn't have the horsepower I wanted and I didn't like using the patch. I dug around on the web and found ECF. This is the greatest community of people and e-cig information ever and I give credit to the ECF community for me finally getting off the analogs.

In the past three weeks I've moved from a Blu to a Lea to a Revolution v2. I let my girl friend try the Lea and she loved it. After 20 years of smoking, she has finally quite analogs too.

Now I chain-vape and I don't care. I can do it and not worry about not being able to breathe. I find that I'm getting more work done at the office and I'm sleeping better because I can breathe when I lay down to sleep. I've been telling and showing all of my smoking friends my e-cig and the ECF website. I'm helping them convert to a life without analogs.

I've also been on the mod hunt. There are so many great designs it's hard to decide which one to try first and I guess that's why a lot of people have such a collection of e-cigs. I like the idea of making my own mod. There's just something satisfying about saying "I made this".

Sorry for the long post. It's my first, and I hope not the last. Thank you to everybody that make up the ECF community for providing people like me a place to learn, hang out, share, and LIVE....without analogs.

Welcome to ECF! This is a great place to be and everyone is very helpful. It's great you are off the stinkies and off the patch! Vape away :)

Ahhh....longtime ex-smokers here! I was a pack-a-day or more for 40-plus years, myself. When I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, my doctor told me that he wanted me to work on controlling it with diet and exercise. The diet hasn't been a big problem, but I knew that exercise would be with that PAD habit. I had tried some overpriced, under-performing ecigs from a convenience store a couple of years ago, but I knew that better stuff was out there, so I googled "electronic cigarette Minnesota," and found a "brick and mortar" store, The eCig Shop, in Anoka, about a 20-minute drive from work. Steve steered me away from the "analog-look-and-feel" ecigs, and I quickly moved from the "Bud" to the GLV-2, and have since added a little Smoktech tank so I can vape more-or-less continuously over a three-hour-plus drive. I've had a total of two analogs in two months, and found them unsatisfying. I'll probably eventually try other flavors from onlline vendors, but for hardware, I'm pretty loyal to the local store.

My wife, on the other hand, has chronic stomach problems, and has found that vaping--even 4 mg liquid--hurts her stomach. We're working on it :)

I went to a friends house last night to show her my PV and explain all that I had learned about E-cigs. She has already survived one bout with cancer and I worry about her having a relapse. She asked me if it was cheaper than analogs and before I could reply, here husband said "what does it matter if it's cheaper if it gets you off of analogs and possibly save your life". He's a smart man!

Andy, maybe you should tell the new members how much money you saved on mods by starting at the top, and skipping the intermediate steps. A lot of Provari users also save money by sticking to single coil cartos because they don't need the more expensive cartos to get the vape they like. They just change the voltage. Also they can usually change the voltage for the eliquids they bought and then didn't like to get an acceptable vape. I do honestly believe that the way to vape most cost effectively is by buying a TOL VV or VW mod in the beginning.
I wish I could but I have been through 3 setups before the provari. I had a kr808 kit, then an ego kit, then a rough stack. I've also gone through a bunch of different types of cartos looking for the perfect ones for a tank. The search continues. I will say that I would have saved a ton if I would've known though.

congrats hope your wife figures it out. actually heading to the cities in a couple of weeks and was thinking of checking the shop out. they look on the spendy side but would still be cool to check things out up close and personal.

I *love* being able to vape while playing MMORPGs. Stopping play to run outside for a quick smoke was always a real drag - no pun intended. ;)

QFT! I hated being in the middle of that dungeon in Age of Conan, then being the one to say, "Hold up for 10, folks..gotta take a smoke"..lol
