I clear 30b knock off

So I grabbed an I clear 30b and a 5 pack of coils from vapingme and immediately noticed something seemed off....

1st it came in a nothing more than a clear plastic bag. Not ziplock or sandwich bag, but one of those stiffer crinkly sounded plastic bags with the tackly strip holding it closed. It did not come in the fancy innokin box like I see in video reviews.
it also did not come with the swivel tip. It came with a. Generic 510 tube style tip that doesn't even ft properly. It's loose, wiggles and clanks against the tank tip hole.
i don't recall if it came with the rubber protective mouthpiece cover.

the black stripes on the tank are also easily scratched off which screams cheap knock off also

the coils came in what I call a somewhat generic looking white box with black and red trim and only a tiny "by Innokin" label on it. Though they are individually packaged in anti static bags which I though was cool.

The tank is plastic and the threads are not right either. I have to fight with it for at least 5 minutes to get the base on properly.
It was cross threaded prior to me getting it I can tell that much. Or the threads are bad from what ever factory it came from

i also bought a supposed vision spinner VV 1300 mah battery that came with the same plastic bag packaging and no charger no labeling on the packaging.

is vapingme legit or did I get hosed.

it could just be bulk purchase generic packaging but somehow I doubt it.

I was going to buy an I clear30b because I loved the I clear30 but all the reviews I read are pretty similar to what you Just posted and this was multiple vendors I checked. I am kinda curious about it now that you posted this maybe someone who owns a legit one will chime in.

I think it's ok but the plastic tank, like the clear 30, needs to be changed to glass.

It doesn't leak nearly as much as the protank two, but can sometimes but as a dual coil the airflow or draw is or can be limited especially with thicker juices.
overall though it is a little better than the iclear 30. but I think I still may need to drill them out a tiny bit more.... maybe

It does say iclear 30b along with the don't throw away no trash can symbol and CE symbol (all on the bottom).
But no where can I confirm that its legit.
The tank threads compared to the iclear 30 are just garbage.

I would be hard pressed to buy another one unless they changed to glass and upped the airflow

just took off the base to add more juice and noticed the top cap and center post are off angle too from when I took it apart to clean it. it is NOT cross threaded so the post may be the culprit
but the base is a nightmare to get on straight.

since vapingme doesn't reply to voicemails they have lost a customer and I will buy my goods elsewhere.
gunna have to drop another $20 on another tank since this one seems to be just filled with little issues though it does work.
just bugs me something fierce

You may actually have a legit one. Mine came in the Innokin box with the security code thing, and I'm having nearly the same experience. The top threads to the tank came basically cross threaded, there's a couple tiny nics in the black stripes on top, but the tip is a swivel tip and fits fine (although doesn't have a rubber O ring which is weird. Innokin does make it without the swivel tip too since that's an option on the box it came in. The biggest difference I'd say from what you're describing is that the draw on mine is in incredibly airy - almost too much for me, and definitely a lot more than a PT II mini. Just broke it in with banyan tree which is 60pg/40vg, so that might make a difference too.

The one I have came with an itaste coolfire 1. Bought it at my local B&M. It didn't come with a rotatable drip tip, but a nice DT nonetheless. The tank is green. I have no doubt it's legit!

Thanks guys. It seems beckn has the same issues I do.
The draw is the only difference though I naturally have more air with more pg.

But the lack of innokin packaging seems weird.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the packaging. As I'm sure you already know, there are MANY different ways these chinese products can be ordered and shipped - often without a display box.

In other news, I have to say I am not liking mine at all. I've only tried the coil it came with, but it is leaking like crazy, the draw is definitely too airy, and the flavor sucks (probably becuase of the draw, but who knows). Really really loud popping and cracking too - like a boge 510 carto - but louder and not consistently - just doesn't sound right. Hopefully it's just a bad coil, or this thing will be retired with a quickness!

Mine doesn't leak if the bottom and top caps are threaded properly.
Make sure that center post is really applying pressure to the top rubber washer of the coil or it will absolutely leak and girggle.
The girggling I think is the nature of the coils but I can't say for sure. That extra space between the coils probably allows for some welling of juice.

But over all yes. I won't buy another of these.
I just don't know what to get.

The only tanks I've absolutely loved so far and had zero issues with are the PT 2 mini's fwiw ( and with 100% vg no less, just take out the flavor wicks) -- good luck with the search, and I'll try giving the 30B one more chance.
