Hello dear community


So like 3 days ago my fiancé got me an E cigarette type Iclear 16 vw , been working awsome great taste and everything , yesterday night been watching a movie and smocking so far all good , this morning smocked a bit see i have no more charge ( the button flashes ) all good i put in charge with my pc as i do always , been playing gta 5 and i said while waiting for the game to load i could smoke while it's charing and then i click the button nothing happens the battery was still red ,i said i should let it charge full t'ill it turns green but then nothing and i have checked every single way to fix it , the problem yuo may say take it to the guy who sold it to my fiancee and fix it or st but i'm having a great vacation in morocco so i can't go back all the way to france just for that . So i would like to see if any of you had this problem i'm desperate for help it was a gift and i got ...... since it lasted only 3 days ...

Ok - I can try to help here - Is the battery an Innokin Itaste VV V3? Iclear 16 is the little clear tank part you put juice in. I am guessing it is the VV V3 as you mention vw in your post. If you have a Qtip or a little piece of tissue - put a teeny bit of rubbing/isopropyl alcohol on it and clean the battery connection and the charger connection (off and unplugged) then reconnect.

It may just be that a little juice has gotten in the connection and they arent clean enough for it to charge.

Report back and we can try to help further if this doesnt solve it. If you arent sure what kind of battery - take a pic and post it - or google and find one like it and post it for us Hope this helps!

the itaste vv v3 charges from the bottom with a micro usb port, have you tried a wall plug to charge it by any chance. maybe the power output from your computer just isn't cutting it. try a wall plug and see if it charges, if not then might be faulty but if it does then its the usb port that's the problem.

THank you for the answer , i just tried cleaning both sides with the tissue and bit of alcohol as you said , but nothiing happens still when i plug it it charges normally( red light and then green when it's full ) but the button is like dead nothing happens when i click it , and on the battery there's written Evod Used and the other half there is : Iclear 16 VW/VV

First i would like to say , thank you all for your answer and taking the time to answer me !

However liquidzoo : i know about the 5 click thing that's the first thing my fiancé told me when she gave it to me . Still i think for today i clicked it for about 300times lol and faster then flash even but still that button doesn't want to show a sign to me ! i'm sure someone in this earth had the same problem but how do i fix , i mean if i had it for a month and it happend to me i would say ok i used it a lot or somethiing but 3 days ! new out of the box and this happens that's what pisses you off and specially it's a gift from the love of my life so .Again thanks for your answer , anything else i should try ? for now i'm just leaving it on the charger even thou it's green ( had a prob with galaxy and left it to charge a whole then it just started working ... long story )

Did your light switch to green? If so that should indicate that its charged - red indicates that its not charged and red with a teeny little light blip every 20 or 30 seconds indicates that its charging.

Have you tried a different plug or usb port (Im guessing you have - but just in case)

if its green then either your iclear tops broken or isn't making contact with the battery, try a different iclear tank or else change the coil in that one.hold the two bottons plus and minis together with the top on and cheek for the ohm reading, should be between 1.8 to 2.2 more then likely. if nothing then its a bad clearomizer/coil just and nothing to do with the battery.

when you press the button does it come on and fade off like normal or does it just go solid green for a few seconds and stop.

CreepyLady : for the charging i tried every thing usually i dont think it has to do anything with charging since it's normal i guess red when charing green when full i even tried plugging it with my ps3 same thing .

Barefoot_V : sadly the one i got has one battery and one tank nothing more i tried what you said cleaning the bottom of the tank still nothing . Still the light of the button should work even if there is no tank connected as it does for everyone i think .

jp_cfc09 : broken how ? i didn't drop it or anything took good care of it as i said to barefoot the button should light up even if it's not connected as i saw in youtube videos etc it works even if it's not connected which two buttons ? when i press the button nothing happens at all , the only green thing i see which is the only think alive t'ill now is when i pluge on the button there is this green light that's all .

sorry might of jumped the gun a bit lol, seen creepylady post the itaste vv v3 and just assumed that's what you have as you also stated vw. do you know what type of ecig battery you have. my post concerning the buttons was directed to the itaste same as the button light question.

edit: in-case it is the itaste vw you have there's two buttons for changing the vv/vw, a + and - you press both too cheek the ohm reading of the coil that's in the i clear.

Also if it is an iTaste VV V3, the light will shut off when it is charged completely. It is a pass thru however and you should still be able to vape while charging. That is once again if it is a iTaste VV V3...

We figured out he has an evod battery and IClear 16. I am out of options if it is not off and the button does not light up at all and the charger is registering green now when connected. It may just be a battery defect

how did you know it was a evod battery out of curiosity? if it is going the way you said then seems he has just got a bad one which is a bummer really to happen to anyone and can only really talk to the vendor to see what he says.

It does sound like there is an issue with the battery itself. This is the biggest reason why I plan to have a spare mod incase anything does happen. Man this sucks and I really feel for ya!

Out of curiosity, is it possible that the tank was tightened too much causing the pin in the mod itself to be lowered which now is not making connection? Just a thought...
