I consumed a 1.5ml 18mg/ml pod. Is this a fatal dose of nicotine?

Here's the rule of thumb: It's very difficult to seriously or permanently harm yourself by vaping nicotine in the concentrations it's usually sold for vaping. Note that if you were to drink your ejuice, it would be another story - it's quite possible to drink a lethal amount of ejuice. Also, vaping or working with high concentration nicotine (100 mg/ml and above) can also cause problems, although many of us mix ejuice with 100 mg/ml with no problems, but we do take care with it.

Inhaled nicotine takes effect within seconds. Long before you get enough to kill you, you'll get 'nic sick'. Several of the symptoms have been mentioned above, but they include:
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Sweating
  • Thirst
  • Shakiness
  • Weakness
  • Tiredness
If you get these symptoms, STOP vaping. Lie down for a bit and drink some water. You should feel better within 20 minutes. Before you start vaping again, get a lower concentration ejuice, turn down your wattage and/or vape less.

If you ignore the symptoms and keep vaping, you won't do so for long. You'll shortly be much too busy hugging the toilet as you try to turn your digestive system inside out to even think about vaping. This is your body trying to protect itself. Listen to it.
I was not planning to drink my e-juice anytime soon. :D However I'm not really experiencing any issues anymore! :)

Yup. Getting pretty stupid replies. Was just kind of wondering, how far I am pushing my luck hehe. Not a very experienced guy here, but sounds like it is nowhere near a problem to consume that much. :)
If you're getting clouds like that from a Blu Starterset, your the master

Hehe. Getting pretty decent clouds. At first I didn't get anything out of em but I charged it. Cleaned the pods up and dried em out, (touched em with my fat ... hands hehe) and now I'm getting really decent clouds, simillar to a cigarette.

    Stupid replies???

Let's face it - it was a kind of stupid question - as you didn't find yourself in the midst of battle suddenly all by yourself riding alone in the sunshine through the Elesian Fields ... ergo you wernae deid!

It didn't kill you - you didn't even report you felt ill, seek, a' yon wey, or a bit off colour, or even that your dandruff was acting up.

Overthinking isn't good for folk - you've only got to look at Leon something or something's posts to see what happenes and where that can lead you.

Life is full of risks and no one gets out of this game alive.

I say what I said at the beginning when you joined - welcome to the Forum!

While I might sound harsh - let me say from 1982 until 1995 I worked with Disabled People first as a Disablement Resettlement Officer, then as an Area Disablement officer covering several territories, then as a Disablement Services Adviser then as an Area Disablement Services Manager.

The people I had the priviledge of working with were all heroes - ex soldiers who had limbs blown off, people who had horrific disfiguring injuries following road traffic accidents, people who had fought back from cancers or who had been born with health problems or though accidents has become paraplegic or worse tetraplegic - but they all had an attitude ; they fought back to achieve as normal a working life as was possible.

From time to time my Team and I came across people trying to fake it or were simply attention seekers - these we called "Dandruff Cases" and I am sure the OP wouldn't like to be that.

I can only say from all that - don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy life.

My normal nic consumption per 24 hours is 3 to 3.5 ml of 24mg juice. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

It's all good (I guess)... just waiting for the rubber teeth comment (don't bother asking OP... others here know what I mean)

I well remember the ruuber teeth not to mention the raging diarrahoe ( as we used to call it when i was young ) also the "raging screamers" the "Turkey Trots" etc all obviously caused by vaping ( despite the fact that it hadn't been invented then ) and in the days when Craven A cigarettes advertised their product as one that "WILL NOT AFFECT YOU THROAT."
