If someone has already posted this I apologize. I only did about 5 minutes of searching and didn't see where anyone had mentioned it.
If you are like me you have realized that the DID is awesome. I like the look of the ZAU and the performance is OK. I wouldn't consider it on par with the different DIDs though. One thing I've seen people talk about is that the contact points inside the ZAU are just begging to lose voltage.
Someone around here put a brass post in their ZAU. Well, I happened to have some spare DID parts laying about...
Step 1: Take the ZAU apart. Geeze... 3 points of contacts inside the ZAU itself... let's just do away with that altogether, why not?!

Step 2: Grab a DID brass post, 2 big brass nuts and 1 little brass nut.

Step 3: Screw the DID post up through the ZAU. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BEND THE POST. A good multi-tool is your friend. Use a thin hand towel to protect metal parts from getting all scratched up from the pliers. There is no need to drill anything out but if you have the tools to do so go ahead. I wanted the bottom insulator piece to be as tight around the DID post as possible. Best way I could do that was to avoid boring out the opening any wider than I absolutely had to.

Step 4: DID post should fit right down the center nice and snug.

Step 5: Use the small DID nut to tighten the top side of the post. MAKE THIS VERY TIGHT. ***NOTE*** I am using this on my Paps. When I screw the ZAU down on the Paps top cap everything stays in place. When I take the atomizer back off of the Paps top cap it rotates the DID pin which of course will muck up the way you have the coil set up on top. Just keep that in mind. I plan on leaving it on my Paps rather permanently so NBD for me.

Step 6: Get ready! Apply the big nuts...

Step 7 (OPTIONAL
): I have a Zenesis2 that isn't getting much use at the moment so swapped the Zen2 Oring and Zen2 top cap and put them on the ZAU... Just cause I think the new Zen cap looks nicer than the old one.

Step 8: Make a nice wick, wrap a nice coil

Step 9: Fill the tank and get dressed up.

NOW VAPE !
There are times when I'm vaping the ZAU I think to myself, "Hmmm... that seemed like a weak hit. What was up with that?"....That doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
