I believe my Chuck has been born. I ordered a plain red Chuck, and there is a picture of one on the Newborn page!

I already have my 3.7 batteries in hand, and I will charge them so they will be ready to go.

One question: Are the RCR123 batteries the same as RCR123a batteries. I have been able to find the later for sale, but not the former. Thanks!

Not an expert, but I think those are different, with the CR123A's being the 3.7 v.

Use the RCR123a. They are 3v. The CR123a is the same but unrechargable version. You can use those too but you throw them away when they die.

Mine showed up on the newborn page on Saturday and I got an email yesterday from USPS shipping services with a tracking number. I should get mine tomorrow. (hopefully)

Now the true agony begins....waiting for the mail!

Shipping notifications seem to be hit or miss, but not due to anything Jeff's doing...sometimes they just don't come through--couple of us never got one, but got the Chucks anyway. Jeff said something about Amazon/email address/computer confusion....doesn't really matter anyway, because the USPS tracking system is for shix anyway--totally unreliable. All it does is give false hope and then fuel your anxiety as to why it hasn't arrived yet!

Best guestimate might be to see how long first class mail gets from IL to your home town...Google?

Anyway, congrats on being a new Chuck parent and don't forget--post photos in the Pics or It Didn't Happen thread!

I bet you it is! I ordered my Chuck on December 28 and got it yesterday! The pic showed up on 1/8 (obviously, it's the Hello Kitty Chuck!).

We'll lament together. My chevy chuck is a no show today as well, along with no tracking.

I just got mine out of the mailbox. So far I'm liking it a lot! I ordered the white and it's not quite as white as I thought it would be but still very nice.
