Oh yeah I did not realize that it does come with a 1.2 and a 0.8 pod. I will try both and then decide which to order. By the way I need to correct myself, it's a 0.8, not 0.6, got confused because Element vape lists it as 0.6 in the product info of the replacement pods.
There might be three then. There are some other devices that also take Nord coil carts apparently.

Too bad you missed out on a super Labor Day week-end sale! I got a Moti pod kit for $1 (still waiting for delivery) Looks like a real nice pod. Anyway, if a device has an on/off option, I suggest always turning it off when not using. Also, you can remove the pods to be extra safe. Fuuny thing is they also had a sale on Mojo device for $1 (disposable device) and the review I watched the guy was opening the packaging wrap and the thing was already auto-firing! I passed on that one (even for $1)

You do realize some kid might pick that up... or it could catch fire.
In the moment it seemed like the best decision. What else would I do with it? If I would have kept it in the office and it would explode I would lose my job. Wherever I would put it there would have been things that could've gotten damaged. When I put it in the street there was no danger surrounding it.

Except every fricken car on the street, plus it’s going to get kicked into the gutters, plus... argh! ...Humans!.... we put too much on it and you panicked and instead of doing the most responsible thing you did literally the least responsible thing possible.

I can somewhat agree with you but honestly I don't know if there was anything better I could've done at the time.

Put it in a glass of water and take it to a recycler.

Literally anything lease at all really. That’s so terribly far from what anyone said as to be very nearly the exact opposite. I wonder if this is trolling. Saving what was hoped to be a gotcha that didn’t turn out by claiming to have broken the law and put innocent people in danger perhaps.
It was illegal to start with if it actually happened. It wasn’t the least damaging thing you could do it was very nearly the most damaging thing.

I’m kinda doubting it actually happened at this point.

EIHYPI, I didn't mean for you to get such harsh treatment. I understand it could have caused issues at work and you getting in big trouble for it. Truth is I blame Smok for creating the situation (and no good way to dispose of the thing) "Hindsight is 20/20"... easy for others to judge, but what would they have done? I'm sot sure glass of water is even a good idea. I gave my PockeX to a friend (to help her cut down on cigs) and she tends to leave it on. She has kids in the house so I told her to please turn it off when not vaping. If something happened I would blame myself for even giving it to her.

Learned to shut them off when pocketing them.

I use smok Nords. I have never even considered not shutting them off ANY time they are not being used.

Not sure why anyone would pocket, store, or carry any ecig device w/out shutting it off.

5 clicks, and then I double check the lights to make sure it's off.

Did this with all previous ecig devices. When I was using provari it was always shut off when in my purse. When I used devices that could not be shut off, I would either loosen the tank (so no coil being triggered) or remove battery when carrying an ecig device when not in use.

It just became habit to do this. I don't know if this is normal practice but it's always been like 2nd nature to me?

When I started vaping and discussing here in 2012, safety was a big issue. We discussed it quite a bit. Of course, vape devices did not have a lot of bells and whistles so you pretty much HAD to practice safety, remove batts, coils, etc. before carrying stuff around in purse / pockets.

Except for the purse part, I always also do this.

Just so you understand I always shut off my mods, Nords... Before I allow them in my pocket. What happened was NOT the case that you perceived it to be. I was hoping that others have understood already that these things happen to Smok products.

That may be true. I have vaped since 2012 and probably owned over 200 devices. I have photos of stuff blowing up in my electrical sockets, the blackened wall, and other such things........none were SMOK products. Every once in a while the wires inside one of those wall plugs gets put in wrong. I just obviously received the 1 in a million where that happened. My electrician was able to take it apart and show me. ( It wasn't my electric socket or house wiring, which was pristine and less than 2 years old at the time and 100% up to and over code.)

And believe me, I've had much worse products than SMOK. There's been a few w/no vent holes...stuff like that. Other things, like atties that weren't made right and "stuff" was coming off inside.......don't get me started. We are going back a ways to 2012.......it wasn't real rosey.

But @EIHYPI I'm sorry what happened to you. And I do apologize to you if I seemed unsympathetic.......because that was not my intention..........the post was more about safety and less about your particular situation. I am in no way defending the company. To me they're all the same, pretty much, although admittedly, there are some I like better than others. And I've never owned more than 1 SMOK product besides these, so I guess I wouldn't be that suprised if they suck. ;)

So far, mine haven't. I guess I can start worrying now though. ;)

Well said... Now that I'm thinking about it if the pod say was on and it went off in my pocket I would have heard the noise being that I was using the .6 coil and you could hear only me typing and a pin drop. Honestly I am happy that this happened because if I look at the positive, now I'm receiving a much better and nicer pod system in the Bident. I guess I was meant to have the Bident so I if I would have gotten the Bident first maybe I would have never had an issue. EIHYPI...

Backwards logic.

I don't say, "I lost my leg in an accident and wow, look at the positives I get this superbly exquisite bionic leg. I never would have FOUND it otherwise."

Just... Do your research and don't throw Smok mods into the street. Please. Thank you.

Anna
