I just had to say this. You guys/gals rock! It was nice to see all the offers to lend me a back up. Just goes to show that this group here is much more than just Buzz owners but genuinely good people. I just wanted everyone to know that I truly appreciate the kindness. I haven't had a chance to get to post office yet as things keep coming up (grr).

What's the best way to give an alcohol bath?

I take the batts out, put my Buzz in something like a shot glass (connection side in the glass) and pour enough alcohol in the glass to cover up to and including the switch. Let is soak a few hours, blow it out really well and let it dry several hours. You can use a blow dryer to hasten drying.

Actually it was a little something or other that was the right shape size and functioning properties that I found rooting through the junk drawer. That's why I toss those little treasures in there. I haven't a clue what it started life as but it sure works good.

lol yea. The funny thing is the Post Office is literally right next door. Behind my house actually. We have a bunch interior remodeling that needs to be finished before winter so things have been busy.
