Ok SO we were at Mudfest today and I had my BRAND new ecig 510 with Manual switch tucked into my bra (safe and sound) or so I thought.. when we went to the fountain to clean up (pure well water!! YUCK!!!!!!!) :-x I bent over to clean my arms and I felt it drop and it landed in the nasty "but clear" pure well water.. :( at least it didnt get dropped in mud!
I just got this and it has been attached at my hip.. nothing is better than this and on the way home I had to puff away at a NON manual battery.. I am perfectly spoiled now.
Will this dry? Has anyone dropped theirs in water and let it dry and it was OK??
If not please direct me to the fairest priced USA seller on a manual battery for my 510 PLEASE.. I NEED it back asap... I cant believe I did this...Any Sales???

looks like the advice was given on the battery, that's the part to be worried about. your atomizer will dry out just fine, give it a thorough rinse and let it stand and dry overnight or longer, and just blow on the battery end (not the atty end) and make sure no more water is left.

the battery...yeah, let that thing drain as much as you can, does it have a hole in the threads in the middle? i know some people have used very small pipe cleaners BUT DON'T JAM THEM IN TOO FAR to wiggle around the inside to clean out gunk.

hopefully the batt dries out and works for you :)

try to keep the battery in a good flow of warm a air for a few days before using. there's nothing wrong with slightly warm air...either in the flow of your computer fan, or on your cable modem etc. etc. just make sure it doesn't make the batt kick on with testing the location with another battery, b/c it could activate it.... somewhere will it will stay warmer and drier with an airflow. If you do use it, and it is completely dry, shouldn't be a problem (i had to do this with a cell phone once that fell in a toilet, i put it on top of my modem for a few days, it worked fine)..

Just don't use it while it's wet so it doesn't short out.... good luck!!!

Dont use a hairdryer. Heating up the battery is a bad idea.

Take it apart and place it in a jar or cup filled with dry white rice. Rice attracts water molecules like nothing else. let it sit there for 48 hours. If that doesn't dry it out, nothing will.

BG - that is a pretty cool trick. Hopefully, I won't ever have to use this technique on any of my e-cigs.

Wow the toilet.. yikes..
I am going to try the rice for 24 hrs.. I know I can clean the atty.. but I am still a little concerned about the well water (sulfer) yucky smell.. hopefully I dont taste this! Thank you guys for all your advise I really appreciate it and I will let you know what happens. Lori B

I dropped my freshsmoking Pharaoh M401 in the TOILET before. I cleaned it, switched cartridges and it was still working perfectly. Now that's what I call quality. lol. The funny thing was how the pressure switch activated when it fell into the toilet and the light lit when it hit the basin.

I'll admit, my brain hesitated for a second about sticking my hand in there but my love for my e-cig won out. :p

Did you discover a new flavor?
