I have terrible social anxiety, so I avoid vaping in public all together. I don't want to bring any more attention to myself (whether it's positive or not) than necessary. I feel like everyone stares at me like I'm an alien already anyway rofl.
I have social anxiety as well and feel the same way... I have anxiety about pretty much everything... When I first started the LEDs made me crazy. Actually they still do...

I just started a couple weeks ago but have already had a few people ask about it. If they say anything about cost I just tell them for what they spend on about 2 weeks of analogs will supply them 1-2 mo of vaping starter kit included. cigs here are $40-50 a carton for premiums and with hubby smoking we went through 2-2 1/2 carts a week of the cheap junk.
I really love ticking off mothers in mini vans. I vape with a window down and kids in the car and everytime there is some mother parked beside me at the light giving me a dirty look. I just turn my ecig around and press it on my skin then give her a look. she hmmps and looks away.lol
some guys at hubbys work were asking about it but since I am the mad scientist in the house ( he has yet to even refill his own) I threw together some info like some more popular models, where to get them, diy info and supplies, everything I could think of to set someone down the right path of getting started even a link to this forum. I now have several copies printed out for inquirers.

I vape a Fist Pack and don't get nearly as many second glances as you would think. If it's not in my hand, it's in a cell phone pouch clipped to my pocket. It's my pacifier though, so it's usually found in my hand.

I kinda enjoy some of the looks, though have yet to field any questions from strangers who have seen me smoking, sorry - vaping it. I wonder if that might be different if I was using a larger model, though with the blue light its already fairly unusual

I just turned myself into an evangelist, to the point I'm considering reselling them. People look at me or make comments and I go into what sounds like a sales pitch explaining the whole thing.
"Oh, it's not a cigarette, there is no smoke thats just water vapor, maybe you heard the commercials on the radio. Check out how it works, this is the battery, this is the atomizer, this is the cartridge, the cartridge wicks juice into the atomizer and it heats it up, I'm exhaling steam basically. But it has nicotine in it so it solves my cravings and tastes great. I don't even want cigarettes anymore, I call them "analogs" hahaha, if you know anybody who smokes they should get one. Do you smoke? Want to try it?"
By the end of that they either want to be left alone or they want to know where to buy one, in either case, problem solved.

Also, there is always the option of holding in your hit. After 20-30 seconds there is no visible exhalation.

Just one little thing I thought I'd point out, the vapor produced isn't "water" vapor it's actually PG or VG vapor or a mix or the 2 depending on the juice makeup.
Push button, suck, and blow~~no problem. We need more public vaping, much more.

Promoting awareness through funny looks and explanations, I LIKE IT!
LOL I vape the mega EGO in public. It's kind of funny to see people trip out. For the most part, people are curious. Where I live, though, it's pretty much taboo to vape in non-smoking areas (virtually everywhere is non smoking it seems), so I try to avoid vaping in these areas for fear of being shot.
