So I started vaping w/ PT minis, then Aerotank Mini & VR2. I felt like I wanted more so I started rebuilding w/ my 1st rda Igo W & LOVE DRIPPING! When I got the Aerotanks & air control I realized I loved lung hits better. Problem is, especially w/ RDA 18 & 24 MG is sometimes harsh, depends on juice. It's not bad if I get great build & right amount of cotton. I'm still on analogs, way less & I'm grabbing my MVP2 more often [another thing I want is a Nemesis or a higher VV/VW device] . I need to just stop buying analogs to be honest. Finally the question, I vape 40 PG-60 VG. Would I feel much difference going to 30-70 w/ throat hit @18-24mg? Not sure about going to 100% VG. Since I haven't quit analogs I feel if I drop to 12 I'm gonna go nuts.. Am I gonna have to pick between lower nic or style of vape so throat hit isn't as rough? Has anybody went through anything like this? I tend to over analyze stuff!:confused:

You may notice a slight difference with higher vg juice but personally it wasn't enough to make dripping enjoyable at a high nic level like 18 or especially 24. When I first got my dripper I tried some 100% vg juice at 18mg and knew on the first vape that it was too much, the throat hit was way too strong. I switched to 12mg after that, the first couple days I had to vape a bit more on my breaks at work but otherwise the switch was not bad. Try some high vg juice if you want, may work for you, but my suggestion would be to lower your nicotine level.

Did you come off analogs when u dropped to 12 or were you already off them completely? I know everyone is different, just curious what other ppl stories are? Ty for being 1 of the 90 ppl to read this & reply!

I had my last cigarette an hour before I had my first vape. For me it was very easy to switch to vaping. I wasn't really a heavy smoker I don't think, I usually went through a little over half a pack a day when I was smoking. I started vaping at 24mg which was too strong for me even in a protank, luckily I had purchased both 24 and 18mg when I started so was able to switch before I got used to the 24mg.

Less nic = less throat hit
More VG = less throat hit

Most people have to reduce nic level when dripping. I do high VG because of PG sensitivity. Was able to stop cold turkey at 12mg and it didn't take long to start heading to 6mg. The smoothest 100% VG I've tried so far has been The Vape Kitchen. Velvet Cloud Vapor although 100% VG has a little more throat hit, sometimes a lot more depending on flavor.
