You might try a lower nicotine level- your symptoms are typical of too much nicotine intake. I smoked 2 1/2 packs a day and started out on 24-30 mg, but that was on ancient devices that didn't deliver nic very efficiently. When I switched to more powerful gear, I had to cut my nic level to 18mg and later to 12. I might recommend cutting your level in half for starters and take it from there.

Could you post what gear you're using?

You're right. If he is Sub ohming he may have to cut it down to 6 or 9 mg.

He can get a 9 mg strength by buying a 12 mg and a 6 mg bottle of the same flavor. Mix both in a larger bottle. Shake well snd there ya go 9 mg strength.

I was a pack and a half a day and 20mg/ml was too much for me when I started. 18 was perfect. But that was on a little evod. I imagine your equipment can produce more vapor than those things. What are you using by the way for equipment?

I too started at 18 mg on an evod but i was 2 1/2 PAD (Pack A Day) smoker

I, and many others, started out as medium-heavy smokers on 24mg/ml using the really low-powered gear of the time like CE4 or ViviNovas etc. - if the OP is using some kind of modern high-powered, or even SubOhm equipment, then it's undoubtedly too much nicotine.

Even in the days of the CE4s etc., 24mg/ml was considered a good starting point for heavy smokers if 18mg/ml wasn't enough, and 36mg/ml was considered only for those mega-heavy 3-4 PPD smokers who needed more than 24mg/ml to get a satisfactory vape experience - and this was all with the old-fashioned, low-powered equipment!

Go to Walmart and find a small plastic bottle (6 oz.) of glycerine (cost <$4). It is near the isopropyl alcohol. Use this 50/50 with your present liquid to cut you nic level in half. This will mute the flavor (and perhaps thicken your liquid). If your liquid is purchased locally, get some of the same in 0mg nic and use that to cut it. Even at 18mg, you may find it is too strong, so cut it accordingly.

If you're in the US and you're somewhere that has a Tractor Supply-type place near you, or any kind of farm/agriculture-supply places near you - they sell straight PG (Propylene Glycol - aka Monopropylene Glycol).

You can also order large bottles of both PG and VG from Amazon for like $7 each or so.

Gallon of PG at Tractor Supply is approx $20 and last me a year or two (mixed with VG). It is located in the animal medicine section (used for some kind of cattle digestive ailment).
